Well it was after class and they had some free time so he figured it was time to show Autumn his Alice as promised he had changed out of his uniform and told her to wear pants. He was wearing a black T shirt and a pair of blue jeans with a hole in one of the knees. It was a diffrent look then before as his hair was no longer combed or anything.
He didn't want some of the more perverted people looking up and getting an eyeful of what he was sure she wanted to keep private. Her comment on the bird and how wonderful it would be to fly when he decided that he would show her. It was amazing in his opinion to feel the wind like that but still not as cool as creating things even if they couldn't be touched.
He was in a nice little grassy spot with a few trees that made it ideal. It was almost like a small little park. Best of all was it was quiet. Endrin just sat back against one of the trees and closed his eyes as he waited.

Autumn, in a quick step that trampled the grass beneath her feet and stole her breath, hurriedly headed for the agreed meeting spot that Endrin and she had set. She was already feeling guilty for taking the tour of the Northern Wood and didn’t wish to make Endrin wait any longer. Besides, she sincerely wanted to see his Alice. She wondered why he seemed so insecure about it. Surely she could try and help him feel more comfortable.
Autumn had dug up a pair of jeans as Endrin had requested, though she found it difficult. She was almost forced to ask Yuuko if she could borrow a pair before she discovered a “going away” present that had been stashed secretly into her bag by her mother. Most parents would kill for the proper, neatly dressed child, but her mother above all encouraged fun. Autumn had to admit, the jeans were quite comfortable.
Spying Endrin against a tree, she doubled her pace and called out with a wave, “Hey there! Sorry to keep you waiting. I guess I got a little sidetracked. You haven’t been waiting too terribly long have you?” She looked guilty as a child caught with their hands in the cookie jar.

Endirn looked up and saw she had shown up afterall and wasn't to late. Certanly nothing to be mad about and she wore Jeans like he had asked. That made him glad as he did want to show her. He walked over to her and held out his hand to her and looked her in the eyes. His face was serious because he didn't want to frighten her or anything like that.
"I want to show you first hand. Do you trust me if so hold on to me."

Autumn was now accustomed to Endrin’s polite and quiet manner, so much so that his look of seriousness took her aback for a second. But with a firm nod, she took his hand, squeezing it somewhat questioningly and perhaps a little tightly. It wasn’t that she didn’t trust Endrin, she did, but she still admitted feeling anxious. After all, Endrin was so hush hush about his Alice.
“I trust you Endrin and I’m ready for whatever you can do.” Autumn said with a steady voice, matching his gaze and dismissing best she could the slight pick up of her heartbeat, the kind of heartbeat you’d gain before jumping of the 10ft diving board.

Endrin felt her take his hand and coulda swore she squeezed it a little and he blushed slightly but he wanted to make sure she was safe and so he embraced her so that if she freaked out she wouldn't fall. He then whispered in her ear.
"Here we go."
Endrin was a little nervious because he had only taken one person with him before and that was cause they would both be beaten up otherwise. He held her in his arms for a moment a little akward but not displeased with the circumstance just akward. Then slowly his feet started to left and both of them were floating up in the air. First a couple of inches then feet until they flew over the roof.
"I have what they call wingless flight. Like I said nothing to special and I probably shouldn't even be here but my parents insisted. But this is why I didn't want you to wear your skirt...."
Endirn started to blush a little more at implying that some people would look up and be perverted and hoped she didn't think he mentioned it cause he would. He just didn't want her to be embarrassed and here he was rambling on.
"S-so is there anywhere y-you wanna go?"

Autumn could not help but blush as Endrin turned their innocent handholding into a questionable embrace. She tried to drown the wildfire of heat and redness from her cheeks with thoughts such as “I’m sure Endrin has an ulterior motive for hugging me” and “This is completely innocent. Besides, he told me to wear jeans…a guy like..like that wouldn’t purposely make me uncomfortable.” Autumn had to admit however, that the embrace was not at all uncomfortable. In fact she felt a sort of silent strength within Endrin and herself emitting from their nearness. Against its owner’s will, Autumn’s imagination was going public again, blowing hearts like bubbles into the breeze that she hoped Endrin hadn’t glimpsed.
The bubble-like hearts however disappeared in silent pops as Autumn felt her feet leave the ground. Instinctively she clung tighter to Endrin, her arms wrapped around his chest and fingers gently, though firmly gripping his shoulder blades. Strange though, for she didn’t feel fear, just butterflies in her stomach and that same, slightly increased heartbeat. She dared not look down, for the trees slowly shrinking told her enough; they were flying.
“Wingless flight…” Autumn repeated, somewhat breathless, still amazed and feeling surreal. “Endrin, your Alice is breathtaking. You seem so in control of it as well. Thank you for telling me to wear jeans.” She gaze a slight laugh, reddening more at the thought of this scenario with a skirt instead.
”Endrin’s such a gentleman…and so easy to fluster.” Autumn thought fondly to herself before Endrin spoke up again.
“Hmm…well, you know, I’m not sure. I don’t know the school grounds too well. Maybe if we just wander…get familiar with the place. It’d be most relaxing, I mean, if you want to that is.”

Endrin blushed a little once again when she complimented his Alice and how well he controlled it. Truth was he was struggling to do this but he didn't want to show that so he just smiled and nodded still holding on to her tight. He wasn't sure how far he could take her so decided that he would just go to the darm rooms. Well close enough but not too close since he didn't want anyone to see him. They started to decend slowly so as to not frighten her and he felt his concentration slipping. He needed to land faster and just spent all of his will power on a nice smooth landing.
It seemed to take ages though it was only seconds since he feared he would drop until his feet softly touched the grass. Holding on to her a moment longer he then regretfully let her go. He had no clue why it was regretful.... He knew about puberty and stuff but he wasn't really that interested in girls.... well not yet though he certanly didn't think they were evil and had cooties anymore.
Endrin was sweating a bit now and wiped his forehead with his arm to move the sweat away. He hoped that she had a good time though and he felt nice knowing that someone else knew his power and seemed to like it. He would probably not give anyone else rides. Only her. She was special.... she was the first.
"Please don't tell anyone....."
Endirn still had a small blush on his face and not just from the effort.

As they landed, Autumn felt a slight wave of sorrow. She had enjoyed the flight with Endrin immensely, but she understood that he could not go on forever. How impolite of her, Autumn thought afterwards, noticing the slight sweat upon Endrin’s forehead. She should have asked about his limits and not have suggested such a long flight.
As Endrin let go, her superman feeling, the feeling of super strength and a comfortable sense of invincibility left her, tempting her to keep the hug, even one-sided, by her efforts. But, considering all Endrin had done, and the fact that she didn’t want to spook her friend, she drew away, bringing her hands together behind her back.
“I won’t tell anyone,” Autumn spoke softly, a calm smile unlike her more enthusiastic ones upon her lips. “This will be our little secret for as long as you want it to be. I really appreciate you opening up to me. That was one of the greatest things I have ever experienced…and I’m not lying,” she ended with a little more assertion, as to prove to Endrin she in fact was not exaggerating the least bit.
“You look a little worn. Do you need help? Or perhaps just some rest in your dorm. I’d understand if that were the case.”

Now Endrin was bright red that he made her worry. He was certanly not used to anyone careing that much about him expecially a cute girl. The fact that he even saw her as cute. It seemed like just yesteray that girls were the root of all evil and he was running from them so he wouldn't get cooties. Everyone knew that came from kissing and such and now he was a little curious but defenatly not so much as to make any kind of move. He didn't even WANT to be curious. His mind was all muddled up with new feelings and emotions. He knew logically that this was a thing that was happening because of the changes in his body but most of him refused to accept that and was just confused.
"Thank you I appriciate that... But it really isn't that big of a deal. Just not used to useing it when not trying to save myself. So no adreniline to help me."
What came out next eas not somthing planned or thought out at all. It was pure impulse and he didn't even realize that he was going to say it until he did.
"Would you like to do it again sometime?"
Endrin started to blush again knowing how it must sound and regretted it at once. His face was buring up and was probably a deep crimson by now. He spoke hastly again to try and remidy the situation.
"If you don't want to that is ok I understand."

Inevitably, Autumn’s soft smile grew again into that of an ecstatic child’s by both the fact that he offered future rides…and strangely his ever growing blush. Something about it was unique…adorable…100% certified Endrin. Blush must’ve been contagious that day for her own cheeks, for the second time that day, rose in temperature at least 10 degrees (Autumn felt) and turned a light cherry hue. It didn’t matter though because Autumn felt as if she could screw up around Endrin and embarrass herself, though ironically she was terrified by the very thought of doing so. She took consolation however in the fact that, knowing Endrin as he did, that he wouldn’t care. Autumn could be herself around him and still feel at ease and never as if she were being judged.
“Do you really mean it? I mean…it’s not too much of a hassle is it? I could pay you Rabbits if you wish, but I do love the offer. Of course, if you’re willing.” She rushed, somehow fitting all four sentences into one breath. She noted her heart rate accelerating past before. She could just imagine a little heart pitter-pattering, like a rabbits, inside of her chest. In fact, it was clear in her mind, so very clear…in the air between her and Endrin especially. Her eyes widened in a mix of dread and abashment.
“Uhm…I’m a little over-exerted myself…that’s why…” Autumn was mumbling more so than talking, keeping her gaze limited to the ground. “The…heart going pitter-patter…” She finished, her voice sinking so low in volume that it was almost inaudible. She cleared her throat and forced herself to meet eyes with him, determinedly keeping her thoughts only on her next words. “You know how it is…The first day of school is exciting. Thank you Endrin so much for trusting me…”

If it was even possable Endrin's blush grew more intense. His hands started to sweat and his heart was pounding it was like he was speaking to a very large group of people. She had offered to pay him but he didn't want her rabbits. All he really wanted was to be around her for some reason. He had no clue why he liked her so much and wanted to see her again already. He was still with her and he was looking forward to next time.
"No it's fine. I don't want your rabbits.... I just want to be nice and it is not a problem at all. Thank you for being so nice..... you made today very enjoyable."
Endrin wanted to hug her again but defenatly didn't want to creep her out. He had hugged girls before like his mom and friends at school but he never realized how soft they were. And, he certanly never felt quite like he did when he was flying with her... His energy was returning now and he could probably fly more with her as long as he didn't go to high. Maybe only five or so feet off the gound so if he did fall they would be ok.
"I think I can go again if you want. just won't go as high. MAybe five feet off the ground. some reason it is easier if I am closer to the ground probably cause I need to consintrate on hieght and distance."

Autumn was relieved that Endrin didn’t expect Rabbits for flights. Though she’d gladly give them up to him, Autumn had to admit she did enjoy knowing she had something for emergencies.
“Are you sure that you’re up to another flight? I don’t want you to put yourself in discomfort for me…” Autumn replied hesitantly, making sure this time she put his needs before her wants. “We could walk if you wish…if you’re exhausted I mean. I know how an Alice can drain your stamina. “Besides, we could probably talk more with your mind free of worry right?” Autumn questioned, looking at him kindly, just hoping that her alternate option didn’t send the signal that she didn’t like to fly with Endrin.

Endrin just smiled he really was fine to fly now if she wanted to and she seemed torn between flying and not. So he decided he would be bold and make the call though if she wanted to stop then he would if she asked. He still didn't want to make her uncomfortable. Still he walked slowly up to her and gave her another hug so that he could keep a hold of her and keep her safe from falling and was wrapped up in warmth again. It was strange and good at the same time.
"Tell me if you want me to stop. I am fine though."
Endrin's feet began to rise up again as they started to rise up leaving the ground behind this time only going five feet up in the air. He started to travel around the campus with her making sure to keep out of site of people not wanting anyone to see his ability since he was still very shy about it.
"You ok?"

“I’m perfect…thanks for asking.” Autumn answered quietly, a pensive look on her face (the only look that could camouflage and distract her blush) as she tried to sort, identify and understand exactly what colored her cheeks pink, made her heart race and radiated the warmth of the sun within her. Was this how she was suppose to feel? Was it an exclusive feeling reserved for only one? Or was it natural, as puberty brings about, that she was just attracted to males in general? These were the only times she felt spite for her parents decision to home-school her. She felt so out of tune with the symphony of life. No matter what, she was always a count off rhythm.
“Endrin…may I ask…” A moment of hesitation. An exhale and inhale of breath. “I mean…you can ignore my question if you wish…but why do you seem to resent your Alice so? Does it have to do with your past…certain people?”

As if to answer her Question Endrin started to go down a lot faster then he had wanted to. He could feel another attack coming on and he had forgoten his inhaler. He needed to start carring that around with him more often because the attackes seemed to be coming more often lately. He managed to drop Autumn on the grass at a fairly low distance so she wouldn't get hurt but he continued to go and fall faster then he wanted. He couldn't breath and his concentration was going with it. He finnally stopped ten feet where he dropped Autumn and crashed in to the ground hard and slid head first in to a tree.
He was fighting a black void that was overcoming him. His head was throbbing and he still was having a lot of trouble breathing. He was trying not to black out though as the color drained from his face.

“I’ve killed him!” Autumn’s mind rang loud and clear with her frantic self accusation. “Oh no! What have I done? Why did you ask that Autumn?!” With haste, Autumn went to Endrin’s side, dropping down upon her haunches as to be nearer to him and examine his symptoms. A great mound upon his head could be inferred to appear later on tonight as a sore red patch premonition proved so.
Breathing seemed to be difficult for him as well. At this Autumn’s heart leapt and her mind reeled in search for any past memorized information that she could apply to this scenario. Nothing. Nothing came to mind! Why hadn’t she read medical books (besides the fact they put her asleep of course)? In urgency, Autumn decided upon instinct, acting on it as she tenderly supported Endrin’s head off the hard ground and upon her lap as she settled down, sitting upon her legs folded under her.
“Endrin, shhh. Please be okay.” Her voice was heavy with worry as she looked him in the eye, trying to get him to maintain some point of focus. “Don’t worry about answering. Just calm down. Breathe slowly, but don’t black out on me. Please don’t.” She began to stroke his cheek with a single finger, motives behind this being innocent; to keep him “feeling” and therefor “thinking”. “Be okay…”

Endrin continued to fight the darkness that was surrounding him. Dully he felt his head being lifted and placed on Autumn's lap but he could barely notice the diffrence. His breathing was shallow and he was working for every breath he took. She then started to stroke him trying to keep his mind awake by useing touch but that too was dull and distant. Endtrin was trying to keep from blacking out but he didn't know if he could. He was able to let out a soft moan showing he was indeed alive and he could in fact hear Autumn's voice though it was more distant then the touch and seemed to be an echo or a memory of a voice.
Endrin's thoughts echoed through the darkness surround him though as well. They were hazy and he had to work to keep them from slipping but he was able to form them.
Where am I? Am I dieing? Who is that with me and where is my mother? Why can't I move? Why did I insist on useing my Alice agian.... I know I can't handle useing it....

“He’s not waking…” Autumn whispered, voice choking up somewhat. Tears were forming in her eyes, but she fought them off ferociously, cheeks flushing with burning embarrassment and self-resentment. “NO! Stop this Autumn, get a hold of yourself!” Her voice rose considerably, her fists clenching and breaking the grass under her fingers. “You won’t help anyone this way…Don’t be…pathetic.”
For a silent minute of eternity she battled her urge to give up and cry, only allowing a few tears to fall. Wiping them away, she calmed herself down and tried to think of a new solution. What would Endrin focus on? What did he like most? Oh, why hadn’t she asked earlier? She couldn’t very well do his parents, after all, she didn’t have a reference to work off of. Truth be told, she wished she was enough to wake him out of this.
And then, of all times, it hit her. This opportunity…so rare, stood…or rather laid in front of her. At this very moment she could confirm or deny the whirlwind of feelings in her heart and hopefully quell the storm. But, of all things to think of taking advantage of someone in potential danger! The fact that the idea even came to mind now ashamed her. But, there he lay, so still and distant. One kiss…that’s all you needed to know if you loved someone right? From every book read and movie watched, she had gathered that much.
“Maybe…he’ll come to…if I shock him?” Autumn reverted to whispering again. The way she saw it, if he became offended and resented the kiss, she could play it off as merely a means to wake him. But if he enjoyed it…and she enjoyed it…then the key to all answers would be in reach.
“Endrin…I’m so sorry…” She breathed, almost inaudibly, leaning down, closer to his lips. Her breath caught in her throat and warm waves of fire flushed her skin. Five inches away, now four, then three…two, one…and back to two. ”No…this isn’t right…I can’t possibly…What if it’s his first? He should reserve it for someone he loves…” Regretfully, though dead-set in her decision, she backed away, leaving Endrin untouched.
“I’m a horrible, horribly weak person…in will, emotional and strength…”

Endrin was still swimming in a sea of darkness fighitng for breath and light. He felt himself going cold knowing that he was dieing but it wasn't like he could form a thought right now. It was more of a knowing in your gut. In the deepest core of you that some don't even know exists. Subconciously he fought a battle just as sure as any fight. He was racing without moving swiming while dry. All of this without being able to breath. Slowly ever so slowly the darkness started to leave. Autumn's voice was less dull. He started to feel a little warmer. Air started to fill his lungs slowly at first hen he was able to breath semi normal.
Slowly he opened his eyes and let out a weak moan his whole body aching. He noticed that he wasn't on the gound. Well not all of him at least. His head was resting on Autumn's lap and he started to blush deeply. As much as he was hurting this made it worth it... He looked up at her and managed a weak smile and began to speak in a quiet voice since all of his strength hadn't returned yet.
"I'm... sorry I scared you.... I didn't think it would be that bad... and I just wanted to show you.... you said you wondered what it was like to fly..."
Endrin's words trailed off as he waited for Autumn to respond. He didn't think she was going to be a happy camper in fact he was expecting to be yelled at or somthing.

“Endrin, you’re okay! Oh…” Autumn smiled warmly, then frowned, then cried. Her mind was in overdrive trying to sort the abundance of emotions bursting from her heart all at once. He had come to, that’s what she had wanted, but had he seen her almost act? Would he think less of her? Why was he even talking after such a suspenseful event?!
“Oh, why did you push yourself?” Subconsciously her voice was rising, though she wasn’t yet on the brink of yelling and the tears were still trickling down her cheeks. “If I had known that would have happened I’d never…” Her voice softened and her eyes darted away from his, downcast. Never. Never was a word she could apply to so many things…before today. She never thought she’d even allow herself the thought to take advantage of another. Now never was becoming such a fragile word in her vocabulary. “I’d never insist on flying if I had known this would happen.” Autumn whispered, bangs cascading over her face like curtains to hide her shame.
She sat in her silence, calming herself to the point of dry cheeks and semi-dry eyes. “Don’t be sorry…I’m sorry. Are you okay now? I think…I think we should head back to the dorms for the night…that is, if you think you’re alright.” Her tone was eerily strained and her smile, if it could be called one, seemed fake.
