__++Name: Alyss "Red" Aix
** ((pronounced ‘Alice Ayeks.’))
__++Alias: Xena’s Stalker
__++Custom Title:
__++Age: 12
__++Nationality: German-American
__++Hair Color: Brownish--appears bloody red under sunlight.
__++Eye Color: Yellow.
__++Height: 5'2"
__++Weight: 95 lbs.
__++Appearance:
[[can we just screw the idea of a picture? xD]]
Red's layered, brown-like hair reaches to her collarbone and over her heart-shaped face, serving as bangs. When shone upon with light, the strands resort to a crimson-red color. It isn't an easy feat to look at her straight in the eye, for they always hold a menacing glare that keeps strangers at bay. Her eyes hold the color yellow, appearing deep orange at most times, and are big and bright, yet holding the sullen glow of isolation. Her eyebrows are thinner than average, making her features sharper, but nonetheless enough for people to read her expressions. Her nose is rather pointed and high-bridged. Red's lips are usually pale, yet glossy, making it appear somewhat red, and always held shut by a flat line.
She has a petite body, with unblemished, pale skin. She’s not especially interested in being anyone’s ideal girl, but she’s also not interested in going outside, thus causing her somewhat vampire-like complexion. Red’s also not into scarring herself, making it pretty obvious that she doesn’t have tattoos on her otherwise frail body. Her fingers are slender, her arms are flawless. Her underarms, her bottom, and any other part of her body that would be commonly darker than the other spots in other girls, are in a tan-like color, noticeable at one glance, yet easily waved off by the eyes. Her legs are slender, and so are her feet, her toes clean and soft. She was spared moles on her body, but a small one lingers on the skin over her left shoulder bone, easily spotted when she goes swimming. She rarely does so, by the way.
Red’s interest lay in fairytale world, making her clothing style usually designed with inspiration from the storybook world, also seen as Goth for some, while others consider it belonging in the Emo genre. The colors that comprise her clothing are bloody-red, black, Pacific-blue, white, metallic-gray, and topaz. The only jewelry she wears is a silver necklace with a guardian angel as a charm.
__++Alice:
"I need you because I love you."
Red was granted the power of producing flames that are covered in shadow, replacing the common vivid hue of fire. During drastic situations when she uses her alice, she becomes addicted to flames, making her a pyromaniac in this state. It also affects her well-being, making her bloodthirsty and oblivious to cries. It also gives her a special weakness under the light, acting like a vampire, shrieking at the sight of it in her eyes. She also becomes extremely hungry, another weakness to her part, since her alice turns off when she feels a certain something too much. For example, pain. There is also the 89 percent chance that she dies when she uses her alice in dire situations, where she only acted by reflex.
Her alice, obviously, is made for offense tactics. The balls of flame appear like floating fireballs that are invisible in the dark, yet its heat exceeding those of normal flames dramatically. She could use it under the sunlight, during the day, at will, appearing like dark blotches that slice through the air, hovering around her. This will last as long as she wants, and disappears with a snap of her fingers in the air.
One of her human weaknesses is Xena during her homicidal state. Being her stalker, her senses are developed to notice her voice and listen to her every whim, including her orders to stop using her alice. She could summon one ball minimum and eight balls maximum. The balls could also 'detach' from her, making it possible for them to reach people up to two metres away.
__++Personality:
"Courage is not the absence of fear, but acting in spite of it."
She’s a quiet child that shows her stalking hobby during the day. Her favorite one to stalk is Xena, since she has seen her around when she wasn’t in the Academy yet. She refers to the body-manipulating alice holder as her favorite friend. There’s a story behind that, will come in the next category. Since she always follows Xena around, she also sees her with those strangers to her. She isn’t nice to them, rather cold actually, unless they would be introduced to her by Xena as friends. Normally, she seethes at the strangers, and finds it fun to see them cower.
When she isn’t around Xena, Red would simply be loitering around looking for her, or wasting her money, or studying. She doesn’t go much for classes since it requires speaking skills, and she does not want to talk. To other people, she might seem weird, an outcast, and hostile. That was partially correct, since they missed the part of ‘totally uncaring.’ She passes for a Halloween decoration when the holiday comes as well.
Whenever she’s angry, she’s hostile to other people, excluding, of course, the special mention Xena. Homicidal hostile, to be more precise. When she’s happy, she giggles, an action that appears so out of place with the other parts of her personality. When she’s sad, she simply stares at the night sky, reluctant in sharing her troubles. Whenever she’s annoyed, she throws a temper tantrum. The more you think about her, she seems like a girl that doesn’t act her age. Being an alice holder makes her insecure of what she cannot do, and of what she can.
__++Background:
"I love you because I need you."
A child with no parents lay on the street, frail and weak, her body shivering from the cold touch of the sliver of the white snow. She curled herself into a ball, waiting for her time to end, tears rolling down her pale cheeks. She didn’t have anything to live for. What was the reason for her to continue to exist? She could just die there, and nobody would know. Nobody would care. She stayed like that, starving and frozen for a couple of hours. During that time period, all she could remember was blood, flames, and bodies burnt to a crisp. Her eyelids fell heavy as a figure loomed in the distance, coming to her.

“Oi, kiddo. Wake up!”
Red’s eyes flicked open, greeted by the sight of three people- Naix, “250”, and Nicol. They were the ones that saved her from death. She wanted to be thankful, but she really wasn’t. She grunted in response, before raising herself up from the peaceful and now ruffled covers of the bed. “It’s your first day of school today!” Nicol declared happily. Red was starting Grade 4. “So how’s the talking coming along?” Naix asked her. She glared back at him, but her features softened. They cared, didn’t they? Naix shook his head in disappointment, followed by a sigh. “Guess you’re still having a tough time, huh?” The girl hasn’t spoken even once since they found her 3 years ago.
In a total, un-Red-like manner, the girl stuck out her tongue, before fleeing to the shower. There she took a bath and wore her clothes, ready for first day. After preparing herself, she took a look at her new image at the mirror. A floppy, lopsided hat in a sky blue color with a line with thick width tracing around it horizontally, speckled with blue stars in the black line, covered her chocolate-brown hair, a sleeveless blue shirt with a horizontal line circling it mid-waist over a long-sleeved white collared shirt, and blue, baggy ¾ pants. It seemed for a guy, but she decided on wearing it anyway, imagining herself as an artist that can make her creations reality.
She went to school, silent and deadly.
Did I mention she was already a hostile child?
A few held her impassive gaze, while others flinched at the sight of her eyes. Class was boring, and she wasn’t at all interested in it. It was all too real for her. She wanted the spruce in her life that makes her different. She wanted to be unique. But she already was, wasn’t she? No parents, no past, no memories. There could be a whole new world in her heart, but she doesn’t know how to make it work. She went home and found none of her guardians there. Appalled and amused, she headed to the yard, where she goofed around, doing kung-fu made-up styles and meditating endlessly for something to come out.
And there it was.
Not farther than three feet away from her, stood a hole in space. It was so surreal, Red was freaked out, but she mustered enough courage to touch it. “Yaw! That’s hot!” she exclaimed after her hand reached ten inches away from the ball. She let out a whimper before running back into the house. Unbeknownst to her, the ball was stealthily following her. She buried her hand under the running water, before turning it off and turning around. She was appalled and just stared, and kept on staring until her guardians came late that night. They, too, were bewildered, but after a while it came to them that Red could control it.
“Hey Alyss, make it write my name in the air!”
“Alyss, tell it to stop heating up!”
“Alyss!”
“Alyss!”
“WHAT?!” Red, enraged with all the commands, yelled. The three looked at her, astonished, before saying at the same time, “Hey! You can talk, Alyss!” It went like that for a while, until Naix told Red to snap the others to attention. Well, she did snap her fingers, and the black ball disappeared. “Well that takes care of that,” Naix said, before the group went to bed. Red, excited by her ability, couldn’t sleep at all.
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
A year passed and Red knew how to summon, de-summon, and control the flaming blackness. She also learned how to summon eight at a time, but no more, as she feels she couldn’t make another one. She attended a new school, where she bumped into a girl with flaming crimson hair. Red glared at her as she scowled back. “Watch it,” she muttered without looking at Red. She then raised her eyes to see the younger girl’s face. “Oh, sorry. Thought you were someone else, haha,” she uttered sheepishly. Red’s face quickly turned to a look of confusion. What was she talking about? Wasn’t she about to slap her across the face? The crimson-haired girl looked back at her, before stifling a giggle, “Pfft…a-are you okay?” She laughed once, a gentle laugh that sounded beautiful in Red’s ears. “Cause the way your mouth is hanging open right now is kinda freaking me out.” Red shut her mouth and continued to stare at the latter, her seething face gone and replaced by a monotonous expression.
“Well, I take it you’re new,” the other girl continued, before motioning to a door. “Class? You and me? Now?” The bell rang. Without another word, the crimson-haired girl nabbed Red’s hand and rushed for the door she pointed at earlier as the bell continued to ring. They were inside the classroom exactly after the bell rang. Not late, just in time. For the whole class hours, the crimson-haired girl would talk to Red and comment on something she didn’t notice – for example, the bucket over the doorway. Ah, the crimson-haired laughed along with the class when the teacher came and got drenched in water. “D-did you see that?” she exclaimed, holding back her laughter. “Classic!”
After school, the crimson-haired treated Red to ice cream, something she wasn’t familiar with. She looked at it, disgusted, before turning her gaze at the older girl, who was happily licking hers. The crimson-haired girl stopped and held Red’s curious gaze. “Don’t you want to eat yours?” the girl asked pointedly. Red, still not wanting to talk, ate hers the same way the crimson-haired did. It was delicious. Everyday, this would happen, the commenting, the ice cream, the class pranks. School began to appear as a very interesting place for little Red.
Red started to stalked the crimson-haired girl, who introduced herself as Xena Zatkin Trigold. She knew who her mom was, that she didn’t have a dad, and she constantly sings in the shower. Seriously, she does. And it was, one day, after Xena’s mom died, the girl disappeared.
For a few weeks, Red was restless, always asking where Naix, Nicol, and 250 was all the time, appearing like an annoying pest, but her three guardians spared her from the scolding. After all, they knew about Xena’s disappearance, too, and how she mattered to Red. It was then the other students in school took notice of Red’s weirdness, her oddity. They started making fun of her despite her menacing glares. After a year of enduring this all, Red finally snapped, using her alice on the whole school.
Burning it to the ground.
Killed them all.
The bastards.
She entered her homicidal state. After burning the school halfway and killing at least a dozen students with her dark flames, she passed out from exhaustion. The trio of guardians hid her from the police, before hiding themselves. They left town and started a new life somewhere in Japan. It wasn’t long before Naix found out about the academy, after a nonstop research for information on schools for children with rare abilities. The trio sent Red there, the 13-year-old oblivious to the possibility that Xena might be present in the said school.
