The sun was at its peak, and the water that touched his ankles was cold enough to take on the summer heat. And yet a jaded sigh escaped his lips, keeping his eyes focused on the glistening sand.
Yui could not make out the sense of having this field trip. The academy just wasted efforts of getting all the students here and preparing for a trip that really doesn't make any sense. It's not even an educational trip, so why bother having it? What's more, he has learned nothing important about his alice as of now. What's the point of going to this academy anyway?
Still, no one could blame him for feeling this bored since he was home schooled, not to mention that he has yet to make any friends. It doesn't really bother him that he doesn't have any friends to hang out or talk to--he grew up without having any anyway--but he couldn't stand the boredom. Perhaps if he was still outside the academy, then he'd do various missions for the 'organization'. There, he'd make use of his alice, and he also has something to do.
He lifted his face up, layered strands of his cerulean hair hiding his angelic visage. He had a long mane extended to just below his knees, keeping it neat in tidy in a braid and a blue lace. For boys his age, it was pretty unusual to keep that kind of hair. But that hair style was still kind of cute.
Finally he arrived to a spot where there were less people. His deep blue eyes stared down once again as he prepared to sit on the sandy ground. It was about noon so most of the students have gone back to the resort complex to eat. Come to think of it, he hasn't taken his lunch, or even his breakfast. That doesn't really matter to him--as long as he got his peace, he won't complain.
He laid there on the sand, not even minding that his sleeveless light blue shirt was already getting dirty. He took the cap on his head and used it to cover his eyes so as not to be blinded by the sunlight, but left a little opening so that he'd see whether somebody was approaching or not. Yui then let out another sigh as he waited for the moments to just pass by.

"...I-I think I'm in the right place...if I'm right, I should have blinked into my room..."
Nervously, a chestnut haired girl opened her eyes, and was rather amazed at the sight before her. Cluelessly, she raised an eyebrow in utter confusion, and felt as if her feet were standing on nothing solid. A breeze hit the bare skin on her neck, prompting the girl to take in a deep gulp of fear as her eyes slowly traveled down to her feet. A glitter of light was circling around her feet, which seemed to somehow suspend her up in the air. Blinking stupidly for a few seconds, she screamed outloud in fear as the circle dispersed into nothing, causing the girl to start plummeting towards her watery 'doom'.
"Eyaaaah---"
Her scream was shut off as she landed onto the surface of the water, a loud splash causing a swirl of random eyes to stare at the deep area of the beach. As for her, she was scratching her back underneath the water, while making the motions in her arms and legs to swim back to the surface of the water. Swimming upwards towards the reflection of the water's surface, she broke the surface and gasped for air, coughing a few times from her sudden fall. With her metal staff in her right hand, she swam to shore slowly, her body still trying to get used to the coldness of the water. Tiredly, she sat down on the moist sand, her knees to the ground as well as her hands. The smell of the salty air assaulted her nose, and she almost grimaced at its rather...unique smell.
"...Ooh..good job Viki, blinking yourself into the air, and even above the ocean..."
Not haven a care at all, she twisted her drenched body and lied directly on the sand, using her staff as a hard pillow to prevent some sand from getting into her hair. The teleportress's eyes locked the sky, looking at its blue color made her feel slightly better, yet the feeling of being drenched in salty water was rather nerving to the girl. Grunting, she sat straight up and looked at the water arriving at the sand, reaching its limits then going back to the ocean to where it came. A small smile graced her face, and the girl soon forgot about drenched self, staring out into the ocean was just enough for her right now.

Bringing a very white mini umbrella to protect her from the sun's rays, Luna strolled into the beach with her pale yellow hair tied in a neat pony. It was unusual of her to tie her hair like this, but the heat was making her sweat like hell. She weirdly stuck her foot once in a while in the sand, and sigh. Left foot. Right foot. Left. Right. Left. Right. She loved the harmony she's doing while burying her foot in the warm sand.
She hummed a melody while hoping to find someone to hangout with. She wanted to build some sandcastles at that moment but she doesn't know how. She remembered her times with her family when they went out for a beach tripping. Her big sister Keira would make bubbles using her Alice, and Luna loved chasing them until she trips and falls flat on the sand.
As the wind blew, it's warmth was felt and Luna loved the feeling. She waved her white handkerchief in the air, but unfortunately, the wind blew it. She had no choice but to chase it.
"White hanky, come back!!" she shouted, and ran for it.
She could swear she hit someone as she chased her white hanky. She tried to look back, and saw a boy with a cap on his eyes. She shouted "Honto ni gomenasai.." then she turned around to resume her chase for her hanky. She found the hanky on the head of a chestnut haired girl.
"I found you." she said, smiling.

One notable thing about Kurai was that she can stare off for minutes... even hours, whenever she wanted to. The noontime sun was warm above the shelter of her white lolita umbrella. It was a good thing her mother made it to match her black and white outfit.
Since she got there earlier, Kurai did nothing but to stare at her feet as the cool seawater buried them under the wet sand, then wash it off again. The breeze was pretty strong, meaning the waves were too.
Just when everything seemed to just repeat boringly over and over again, the next current washed a starfish on Kurai's feet. The girl blinked twice, then smiled a little. "Yay... Starfish..." She tried to express her enthusiasm, but to no avail. Regardless of that, she picked up the sea creature and placed it on her left hand. "Starfish..." Kurai repeated again. She played with it by poking it softly as she walked.
The starfish absorbed much of Kurai's attention that she didn't notice the boy lying on the sand. "Pokey... Poke--" Kurai's amusement was cut short when she tripped and fell over the boy.
"Yoww..." Kurai groaned as she laid still. She blinked as she looked at the starfish that fell on the sand. As she was about to pick it up, the water washed it off the shore and carried it back to the sea.

[OOC: Ojamashimasu~ Futago no neesan ^_^]
Firstly, why does the day have both day and night? Why can't it be always evening or night, and no afternoons? Why does the season has the season where only warm afternoons exist in that period. Summer, the least awaited season for Kurosagi. Apart from all the exciting events and festivals held in summer, he didn't like it. Especially because it was hot.
Eating a single kakigouri* underneath the shade of his beach umbrella. Folding his legs above his wide spreaded towel so that he didn't have to sit on the burning sand. Well, being the not-so-smart-but-not-so-dumb person he is, he had damped the sand beneath the towel with the cool sea water before actually spreading the towel there.
Wearing a light, see through shirt and a pair of board shorts. His long fringe was tied up as the cool breeze blew on his face. Obviously he was cooling himself, especially in a hot day like this, he wouldn't stand running around in the sun. Maybe a swim would be nice, but he wasn't in the mood for swimming.
Beside him was a white plastic bag which was filled with drinks. Not really enjoying himself in the academy lately, perhaps it was because he didn't have any friends. Well, for a start he never had any friends in the beggining. Soon the first thing he noticed was his room mate. Being so close to him, and he didn't even notice it. Maybe because he was too 'busy' in thinking about how hot the day is. But anyway, so it happens, there was 3 others with him. How fast he had made friends, compared to Kurosagi who's only really close with his long term cousin.
