Name: Adrian "Yuuko" Bayer
Age: 12
Nationality: German/French
Hair/Eye Color: Flame red hair with sea green eyes.
Height/Weight: She stands at roughly 5'0" and weighs around 100 lbs.
Appearance: Adrian's fiery red hair falls to the middle of her back with partly grown out bangs which fall to her shoulders and get in her sea green eyes almost all the time. Her build is a bit more mature than those her age, and sometimes she can even be mistaken for a middle schooler, but she's always quick to correct anybody who makes the mistake. She's a rather developed young woman, which is why people make the mistake so often.
Alice: Adrian can, only sometimes at will, make others see something instead of her. If somebody is talking to her, they will see a rock floating in mid-air talking to them instead of Adrian. Most of the time she cannot control this, but there are some instances where she can. When she feels this coming on, she tries her best to stop it but is usually unsuccessful. Many people have run away in fright because they've seen some hideous creatures standing in her place. Of course, what they see is not actually there, it's still Adrian, but most people don't know any better.
Clothing: Adrian wears her school uniform whenever she absolutely has to, but other than that she hates wearing it at all. When she's not wearing the supposedly awful thing, she wears instead tight blue jeans and very loose-fitting t-shirts. Most of the time these shirts have nothing written on them, but there are times, perhaps once a month, that she'll wear a t-shirt with a sarcastic comment on it. Her parents had almost completely forbidden her to wear such things after the time a priest had read her shirt that said "Why don't you read your own t-shirt?" at church. Aside from that, she has trademark sunglasses that she has perched in her hair whenever she's outside, unless of course the teachers absolutely forbid her from doing so. Sometimes she'll actually wear them on her eyes, but that isn't often.
Personality: Perhaps a little too outspoken, Adrian can get on everybody's nerves if she tries hard enough. She always has an opinion on something and always wants to make it known as widely as possible. She's quick to make friends and loves to just randomly jump out at a person, introduce herself, and then bound away happy as can be. Most of the time the people never actually bother to speak with her again, but at least they know who she is. In her eyes, everybody is a good person, even if they don't like to show it and that quiet people just need a little motivation to be the loudest you'll ever hear. Some people tend to get easily annoyed because she likes to push them to talk or to do things with her. Others, however, like her perky attitude and ask that she keeps it up. Adrian is a very loyal friend who would do anything for her friends, considering she feels that her family just abandoned her at the academy since they thought she was just a freak. Her parents are a touchy subject and the one thing she doesn't like to talk about, so whenever she is asked she clams up and begins to speak in one-word sentences.
Background: Adrian's parents always thought that she was a little eccentric, but they always loved her. She was a smart girl who always kept up in school and was able to make lots of friends. However, they had been hearing reports from her school that she was scaring the other kids by making floating monsters appear in front of them. The teachers thought that the kids were just getting spooked by stories, but they wanted her parents to speak with her about what was going on. Adrian denied having any part in scaring anybody and said that she thought the kids just ran away because they were mean. Her father thought this was strange but he didn't push it. After all, why would his daughter lie to him about something like that? Then, one day, her brother, Max, stopped by for dinner. When he began to speak with Adrian, he noticed that she was not Adrian but a large wolf with teeth that would rip right through him. Frightened, he screamed that she was a freak and he wanted her out of the house. Her father and mother came bustling into the room and saw the same thing as their son, immediately terrified. In response, they locked her in her room and refused to let her out or see her for days. The Bayers found every specialist they could, and even wanted to try and bring her to a church to have whatever "demon" possessed her driven away. That was when Max came back and told them of an academy that dealt with all sorts of kids like that. His exact words were: "We can just leave the freak there and they'll make her normal. And even if they can't make her normal, it's not like we'll have to deal with her anymore." Adrian heard the conversation and was distraught. When her parents told her to pack, she brought everything that she could with her, but no pictures to remind her of the family that no longer wanted her. She didn't even bother to tell them good-bye at the entrance of the academy, she just walked away, hoping to leave them behind forever and find a new family within the school.
Family History: The Bayers had lived in Japan ever since Mr. Bayer had retired from the Navy. He had been stationed there for so long that Adrian had even been born in Japan. So they decided to stay for her sake, though Max left to live with his aunt and uncle in America so he could go to "normal schools". Adrian was ready to start school, so they let her start a native school. After all, their daughter was fluent in Japanese since she had lived there and heard exchanges between her father and his colleagues and had just picked up on words and sentence structure, just as a child would learn English. Though her family made sure to teach her that as well, they were proud that she was bilingual. When she went to school, the children all thought that "Adrian" was a funny name and mocked her for it. So, in retaliation, Adrian told them one day that her name had been changed to "Yuuko". Ever since then, anyone outside of her family called her Yuuko. At this new school, she plans to keep the name since so many people called her that. Besides, Adrian was the name that her parents gave her, why would she want to keep that? If she was no longer their daughter, but a freak, she would not keep their name.
I hope this is good, if there are any changes I'll be happy to make them! I would like to refer to Adrian in my posts as "Yuuko" just for the emphasis on the fact that she doesn't like her real name. Would that be okay?
