Name : Mattheas Kezman
Nationality : English (half German)
Age : 25
Gender : Male
Hair Colour : Black
Eye Colour : Brown
Height : 6'3"
Weight : 177 lbs
Occupation : PE teacher
Alice : Shield, Kezman can form a barrier around himself or other objects over a radius of three metres. This takes a lot out of him, and so he can only maintain the shield for an hour at most. Kezman can project his barrier over other objects away from himself, however when he does this, it means that he cannot form another shield over himself.
Personality : Very pragmatic, Kezman has a dry, sarcastic sense of humour. He is a direct person who can be either very kind or very brutal, depending on the situation. Prefers to observe and asses a problem before joining in.
Appearance : Mattheas Kezman likes to wear his black hair short near the scalp, he also has a nose that has been broken several times, resulting in it appearing very slightly bent to the right when viewed from the front.
Kezman's face is marred by a scar on his left cheek, that runs diagonally from just below his cheekbone all the way to his jaw line. This gives him a mocking, sardonic expression that only goes away when smiles. Due to his years in special forces, Kezman's build is rather more muscular than the average person. For his everyday wear, Kezman's tastes tend toward the usual jeans, shirt ,and jackets.
Background : Mattheas Kezman never had a family, and the orphanage in Aldershot, was the only home he ever knew. He grew up playing rugby and football (soccer to all you heathen Americans^_^), and generally having a normal childhood.
At the time Aldershot was also home to the British Army's Parachute Regiment. And seeing these soldiers everyday, left a deep impression on the young Kezman. And so at the age of seventeen, he left school and the orphanage to join their ranks.
He killed his first man when he was eightteen years old, during a skirmish in Central Asia with a Taliban patrol, this engangement also earned him the scar that now marks him, given to him by a dying Taliban's bayonet.
After three years with the Paratroopers, Kezman applied to join the British army's elite special forces unit, the SAS. It took two tries for him to pass their very stringent selection process. Having passed Kezman now began conducting missions all around the world. And during his time with the SAS that he would come to realize that he was different from other people, this was because he would constantly survive situations, that seemed hopeless, unschated.
On one such mission, Kezman's four man reconnaissance patrol discovered an illegal weapons manufacturing facility. After conducting a close target reconnaissance, the team leader requested a cruise missile strike. The deed was done, the facility was destroyed, and Kezman went home.
Three days later however, in transpired that the family of the facility's commander had chosen that very day to pay him a visit. And as a result, nine civilians, including four children died.
Images of the bodies were beamed around the globe by the world's media. The incident nearly sparked an international incident, and as the politicians scrambled to salvage the situation, Kezman received word that he was to be sacrified. He was publicly chastised, and kicked out of the SAS. His commanding officer offered him away out. The officer had a daughter who had gone to a very special school, called the Alice academy, using his contacts the officer managed to wrangle a position for Kezman, as a new PE teacher.
So now as he stood in front of the gates, Mattheas Kezman formerly a soldier in the service of Her Majesty the Queen of England, has become a teacher, and it was with a lot of trepidation that he finally stepped inside of the school grounds.
He just hoped that he could remember to not yell at the children like they were soldiers.
