[Somewhat open, but let Lavi post first.] It was a beautiful day, and Yuki simply refuses not to have fun although he is obviously lost. Not lost in the sense that he doesn't know where he's going, it's just that he happened to drift at the Middle School building. He woke up at the wrong side of the bed, and he just wants to compensate for his grumpiness earlier in the day. But getting to the Middle School building isn't exactly what he had in mind. The half British lad simply let out a sigh, and unconsciously raised his Maxxum 5D and looked through his lens, aiming for a shot. He then noticed a red-haired figure sporting the same elementary school uniform as him. Lavi...At first he didn't believe his eyes, but when he looked closer and zoomed at his camera he saw that it is indeed Lavi, his best friend! Oh, how he missed him! He hasn't been seeing the boy lately, but it's quite a shocker that they'd meet here, of all places. Rushing towards the redhead, he waved his hands frantically, trying to get the boy's attention. Yuki has changed over the past months--he's not the same timid lavender haired boy that he was before; he's now the friendly light-haired bishounen who's grown over his term being student council president. "LAVI-CHAAAAAN!!"

"Ara.."
The immature red haired thirteen year old boy exclaimed as he stopped his footsteps heading back to the dorms, via the middle school, from the classes he had attended. Clad in the silly uniform that everyone of the school had to wear. Even so, he did not complain so much as he looked, somewhat good on it. His hair was half shifted back as his weird patterend green and black headband was placed, covering his forehead.
He placed his right hand on it. Thinking that he had heard someone calling his name, whilst his bag was carried on one side of his back. He lifted one eyebrow as he took another quick, but good look around himself as to make sure he was NOT imagining or hearing things.
Then slowly reverting his stance back so that he would face the front, to where he was heading.
"Must have been a fly.."
He thought as he continued to walk down the road.

Yuki saw the redhead slightly tilt his head, but it seems that the latter did not see him. It was very typical of Lavi, although the half British lad could not put his finger on what trait he actually manifests. Negligence? Maybe. Devil may care attitude? Perhaps.
Nevertheless Yuki had to try harder to catch his best friend's attention. The light-haired lad ran faster, clutching his Maxxum 5D near to his chest so that it won't fall off. Still, even though he ran faster, he just couldn't keep up with Lavi's pace.
"LAAAAAAAAAAAVI-CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!"

And there goes the 'fly' once again. Stopping once more as he shook his ear by the earlobe, using his index finger and thumb. He cocked his head to the side, furrowing his eyebrows, and scrunching his eyes. Had he been to tired? It has been a while since he was out anyway.
The fly's sound was a long ringing sort of sound that seemed to be calling to him. Or is it just his imagination that the fly was calling him? Shrugging, he continued to walk as he planned to sleep as soon as he got back in his room.
"No, wait. I could have sworn it was 'Lavi-chan' that the fly's screaming out."
Taking a good look around once more. Even though it was a quick one, and he had to only rely on one eye. He didn't think. Well, that was pretty usual, when it comes to Lavi himself. He never thinks.
He placed his hand on his headband covered forehead once more, looking up at the radiant sky above him. Trying to remember who was the one, the only one that called him by "Lavi" ending with a "Chan", even though his last name isn't even Chan in the first place.
Doing so he manouvered around, noticing gray strands-- or is it lavender, of hair bouncing up and down from the bottom of his eye. He straightened his view, and here it was, the 'fly' that kept calling his name.
"OHH!"

Finally catching his redhead best friend's attention, Yuki took advantage of the moment that the former stopped to take notice of him. Oh, thank goodness Lavi noticed; the half British lad couldn't have possibly caught up with him! At that he ran faster, stopped just in front of the red-haired boy, panting as he leaned his left palm on his left knee.
"Hai...ha-hah neh...ver... hah-hah... thought hai'd... c-c..." Yuki raised his palm to the boy, gesturing to give him a few moments to catch his breath. Goodness, the light-haired lad hasn't been exercising, has he? Well, blame all of that to his older sister Akane, who gave him the DSLR that he held in his right hand. Every free time he'd get (which is barely minutes after class dismissal) he'd spend taking photos.
Wiping the beads of sweat that formed in his forehead, Yuki then straightened up and hung his camera around his neck, sporting a wide smile on his lips. "I never thought I catch up with you, Lavi-chan!" the boy practically threw his hands around the red-haired lad's neck, initiating a hug. "It's been so long!"
Still... the boy didn't think that Lavi might not be able to recognize him, now that he's practically grown up--he's grown a bit taller, some of his facial features have matured a bit and his body is not as lanky as before. Plus, his hair is now as white as snow (although bordering on the pale gray hue). Practically the only thing that stayed the same with his physical appearance is his light gray eyes. And he's not as shy as he was before! Again, the question lies, will Lavi be able to recognize the boy, despite all these rather numerous changes?

At that he clasped his hands, squashing the ringing fly that flew new to his ear. Ignoring what the heck that white or gray fur ball that's bouncing was. Thinking that he'd never hear that annoying buzz which is in a form of his name. He grinned at that and manouvered-- or was about to when the white thing came closer. Moreover, talked and hugged him and used his alias (since he doesn't even have a name to begin with) as if he knew who he was.
His eyebrows--or maybe, eyebrow, considering that he covered his right eye, twitched. And yeah, it's been so long since he bathed in the sunshine. But what kind of "It's been so long" is this one over here talking about?
"... Do I know you?"
He managed to say that with a grin, although it doesn't look as if it was the same mischevious smile that he gives off, when he's telling a joke.

A small chuckle escaped his thin lips. "Of course silly, you know me!" Yuki immediately replied, letting the other boy's neck go. Goodness, Lavi is such a joker. For a moment there he sounded as if he doesn't have any idea that it was Yuki who... well, in a sense, glomped him. Wait... maybe Lavi really didn't recognize him! He then took a step back and slightly squinted his eyes, looking straight at the red-haired boy, with a confused and rather surprised expression on his face. "Wait, you mean you really don't know?" Another small chuckle escaped from his lips. Oh, how could Lavi have known anyway? The redhead still hasn't seen his current appearance, and it seems that the former doesn't know about the 'accident' that happened to him months ago which caused the change in his appearance (well at least in his hair). "Lavi-chan," the boy started, "It's me, Yuki!" OOC: Sorry, crap much.

"Wait, you mean you really don't know?"
Nodding off to that statement. He had found himself dumbfounded plus lost of the current track of where the academy's going. Well, it's a no wonder, since he had, practically no life the last few months or so. It has really been a while since he went outside.
"It's me, Yuki!"
Yuki, huh? Now where had he heard that name from? He wondered. Placing a hand on his chin, thinking of who that was from the past. It rang a huge bell ring, but he couldn't pull the face together with the name.
"Hmmm..."
Closing his eyes as he drifted off to the memory from the past. After a while, he opened his eyes and opened his mouth.
"Which Yuki are you, again?"

Now it was getting rather frustrating for the boy. First, he found it hard to catch Lavi's attention, which was really annoying if you think about it; he was shouting his name at the top of his lungs! And now, he doesn't even remember him? Has the world gone cuckoo already? Or perhaps it was just Lavi?
Still, Yuki found humor in the situation, and instead of stressing himself with much frustration, he just decided to laugh everything off. He should really be used to this right now, considering the fact that the two of them hadn't seen each other for ages. And besides, he was sporting a new hair color (which he really didn't ask for in the first place) so it must've been hard for the somewhat oblivious redhead.
A sigh then escaped his lips. "Mou Lavi-chan... it's me... uhh, Yun-chan." Now if that didn't ring a bell, perhaps the following will, "Purple top, remember?"

"Yuki.. Yun-chan.. Purple top..."
Repeating those name and nicknames that he had made up from the past. Trying even harder to remember who Yuki, also known as Yun-chan and purple top is.
Soon enough, it came to him.
He clenched his hand which was on his chin a moment ago, to a clench, which he then catched it with the other hand, showing that he had, finally, gotten it.
"OH! Yuki, 'sup Yuki?"

The boy pouted a bit, but one could tell it was nothing but a good-natured 'pout.' "Mou, Lavi-chan, you don't remember me at all, do you? That's so mean of you..."
Well, how could the redhead have recognized in the first place? His semblance was not the same from before and his personality has changed a bit too. Besides, even Yuki himself doesn't realize the changes within him. He's more outgoing now, and far more at ease when it comes to expressing himself. All were good changes, well, maybe except for the hair. Not that he hates it though, but it could be bothersome at times.
Another chuckle passed through his lips. "Well, I've been doing fine. Been practicing my photography too," he said as-a-matter-of-factly, even raising the camera that hung from his neck. "How about you? How have you been?"

Oh? So his cover of pretending-to-know-who-he-is was blown. Was it that obvious or is it because it's written all over his face? Whatever the case, he does, practically suck at lying. It may be a good thing, sometimes a bad thing. Well, if it is a true friendship then Lavi would gain all his memories in one second, but with one condition. And that is when he managed to get to refresh one second of the past. With, the gray-haired involved, of course.
His eyebrow (since he covered his right eye) was lifted when he saw his old best-friend-which-he-forgot lifted his camera. Surprised that he even had a camera, did he bring that around in the past too? He wondered.
"Oh, there's clubs in this academy now?"
As far as he's concerned, too many things have changed in this school. Too much for him to catch up to it. Eventually he'd get used to it, but for now, it's pretty tough to intake.
