[OOC: Closed thread. No one is to post.]
The young male let out a soft grumble, stopping in his tracks for a moment. Then, pulling both hands out from the front pockets of his orange hoodie, the lone wanderer raised his head, revealing the fair complexion of his lower face. His upper face? Covered and hidden from view by the hood of his hoodie jacket and his vortex of red and black hair. Despite that, it would have been easy to recognise who he was. After all, only one person had that kind of hairstyle here in the Academy, and who else could it be but the Student President himself, Hiei Valentine.
The President lifted both of his hands up to his hood, pulling it back and revealing the whole of his hair. Having no more pressure being applied to it, his hair revealed his upper face and more noticably, his crimson-hued eyes. The male glanced around, his mouth but a thin line and his eyes almost void of expression. That was how Hiei had grown to be. He never wanted to be, but hey, with life being how it was, it simply just grew into him. And he found it too bothersome to change himself.
After making sure that none save him was in his vicinity, Hiei then pulled his right sleeve back, glancing at the black band worn around his wrist. The Restrictor that the government had issued to them. He let out a soft hiss, utterly annoyed at the accessory. Honestly, what were those bastards planning to do, restricting them as such? It did not make sense at all. They were born with gifts known as Alices and when they were discovered, they were brought here to learn how to use them, but in the end, they end up being restricted. Let's not forget that the A.A.O. had some ties with a few corrupt government officials too. This was not looking all too good for Hiei, no.
"This is utter bullshit."
He muttered, furiously covering the wrist band with his sleeve once more. He was going to find out what exactly was happening around here. And he was going to have to do it alone. He did not want to put any other student in harm's way, nor did he want to affiliate himself with the teachers on this, especially his mother, Ms. Thea. There was no need for their help. Hiei was always better working alone, though this time without the help of his Alice.
How bad could it get?
At that, he placed the hoodie back on and walked deeper into the forest, his destination known only to himself and Kurogane. From there, he would start searching for answers, and he was not going to come back until he did.
He could only hope the Student Council could still do without him.
