Explosions broke the silence of the deeper part of the North Woods, flocks of awakened and frightened birds soaring into the air. If anyone were to actually follow the sound, they'll find themselves in a cleared part of the forest, where remains of burnt tree trunks would lay on the black ground. On the center of this 'crater' stood a raven-haired boy who stood out in the surroundings, considering that his person was completely clean and dustless. He had black hair and eyes, his face pimple-less, wrinkle-less and emotion-less. He wore a plain white shirt, three leather-stringed necklaces around his neck. Over the shirt, he wore a black leather jacket, the sleeves reaching down to his wrists. His right hand was completely covered in red bandages, his left hand clad in a fingerless black glove.
He was wearing a pair of loose black pants and lastly, a pair of black sneakers. Then, the young man closed his eyes, taking a deep breathe as he did. Exactly two seconds later, he would double over, his eyes opening as he let out a yell. Slowly but gradually, his body started to glow blue. As soon as his body was completely enveloped in a blue light, he straighted his body, his arms stretching out suddenly towards the sides. The blue aura expanded dramtically and soon enveloped the whole area. As soon as it reached a radius of five meters, there was a loud whistling sound, followed by an explosion. Smoke filled the area, but soon dispersed into the air.
The same young man was standing in the center, still covered in blue light. When the area was completely void of smoke, the blue light gradually disappeared and there stood the young male once more, completely clean as he was before. He looked at his bandaged right hand, then let out a soft sigh. He was improving, yes, but he was taking a long time to do it. He needed something to give him a challenge, instead of trees. He needed someone. It had been a while since he had actually attended class, nor ever been to a crowd. But he was back.
Saturos was back.

For some reason she just can't stay put. She remained passive as she always had, but her feet just led her to places she really wasn't interested to explore. Loneliness? Maybe. Boredom? Definitely. Being the new kid around the block isn't the easiest thing to be, and with the personality as dry as a desert, Lain just couldn't stand being around people yapping all day, or rotting inside her dormitory.
Fresh air, she told herself. Now she's in the middle of some kind of forest, and being alone in the forest isn't exactly the most fun thing to do. The view, however, isn't exactly bad either.
Earphones were plugged on both her ears while her iPod rested inside her checkered skirt's pocket. She fiddled with the cloth for a while, thinking that the uniform isn't bad at all. The skirt is shorter than her former school's uniform, but way more comfortable to wear. She never did understand why Japanese people dressed like this, but now she has an idea.
She noticed a hazy figure from among the trees, and unconsciously walked towards that direction, with her eyes on the ground as she listened to music popularized by an artist she doesn't even know. It was quite loud, and the only things she could really make out of the song was 'wild, wild rock,' and the rest is in Japanese, or in some other language. And then, there was a sudden 'explosion'. Surely that wasn't from her iPod anymore.
Remnants of tree barks came that came flying towards her direction greeted her as she looked up. As a reflex, she ducked and covered her head, but her face had been scratched by fragments even before she could dodged. She accidentally pulled the headset off her ears in the process.
And then a scream. Although trembling, she looked up to see what had just happened, only to find a dark silhouette (was that even a silhouette?) enveloped by something like blue light. Lain stood up, still with no emotions evident in her face, well, perhaps confusion, but that's about it.
Still passive, as always.

Someone was here. He felt it. Another presence in the vicinity. Saturos lifted his eyes from his right hand as he slowly looked around, trying to spot out any traces of his 'companion'. Hopefully, it was someone. A new student too. It'll save him the trouble from teachers if the person were to escape and complain. Yes, he was intending to strike at his new victim, swiftly but entertainingly. The adrenaline and thrill of battle was like a drug to Saturos and he was having a hangover from it. He needed to experience combat once more.
Then, he spotted the person. Staying where he was standing, he eyed the other closely. Judging from the figure, the face and the hair, Saturos could tell that it was a female. He gritted his teeth, cursing to himself. Females always put up the lousiest fights, even if their Alice were powerful. They were simply too kind and they lacked the bloodlust to provide a worthy challenge. He might as well do it fast. Clenching his right fist, he started to concentrate the energy there. Soon, his whole right forearm was covering in a blue aura.
Without wasting another second, Saturos shot his right arm forward, the blue aura leaving his hand and rocketting forward towards the girl. As soon as it left Saturos' arm, it started to take shape. Halfway to its destination, it had turned completely into a glowing blue sword, the tip pointing at Saturos' victim as it sped forward at a dramatic speed. What seemed to be a quick kill suddenly stopped, though, as Saturos opened his hand and the blade stopped in its tracks, now directly in front of the girl, the tip about ten centimeters away from her neck. That is, if she did not move from her spot.
"You chose the wrong time to take a walk, girl."

Sora was having a walk in the north woods. She was playing with the phantoms staying at that place. She was really happy with them. Her phantoms were playing with her and the others too. She was smiling and having the happiest time in her time there at Alice Academy. It's pretty weird to play with phantoms but when you can manipulate them, it's weirder. Well, sora doesn't like to hurt their feelings especially one of her phantoms have a crush on her. She continued running until she reached a deep part of the north woods. She continued walking when the phantoms suddenly became a chaos, they were running for their lives. Her phantoms hide inside her body and Sora take off her energy. The energy where other people can sense you.
She walked straight to the place and saw a smoke. Wow, it's pretty bad. She became mad for destroying her happy time but she just calmed down and started walking. Still, energy down, she saw a raven-haired guy and a girl in a certain place and scene. Sora was shocked that the guy was pointing a blue sword to the girls neck. It was a bad scene! Sora ran towards their direction and her eyes widened. She can't believe that there are non-gentlemen guys here. She whispered, "St..stop..." louder, louder, louder. Then her voice became the normal frequency. "Stop" she said. She was not the kind of girl who likes to butt in t fights but this was different. A girl, pity, so pity. She walked near to the guy, feeling scared. Sora tried to be brave but she was really scared what would happen next.

She only blinked once, but as her eyes opened, a sword out of what looks like blue light was pointed on her neck, a leather-clad boy holding its handle. A cold sweat trickled from her forehead down to her chin, and she felt it dropped onto her now clammy hand. Was she going to die? Already?
The iPod though continued to play, and the music would still be heard despite the fact that the sound only came from the headset. She remained in her place, without showing much emotion. If one looks exactly, she seemed rather calm and resigned, but she was still human. Of course there was fear in her brown eyes. The voice of the boy in front of her and the loud music from her iPod were the only things she could discern. As many say, the eerie silence was deafening.
"Aren't you going to continue that? Slicing me in half?" she said in her rather soft voice, without hint of anything. She just spoke dryly. Not in an intimidating manner nor in a scared approach.
Quite ironic, really. When she asked for her end, it wasn't given to her, but at a time that she was least expecting it, then here it came. Perhaps this was better, her impending death wouldn't be known to many. Still, it would've been better if she knew she was dying at present, she would have prepared for it.
Lain barely recognized the other presence in the woods. Her attention was on the boy who's sword was pointed at her neck, and nothing more. Yes, there are too many things in her hand at the moment.

"Stop."
The moment the word entered Saturos ears, his other hand reached out, towards the direction of the other girl, keeping his eyes on his first victim. The other was a girl too, from what Saturos could tell. Although she did well in hiding her presence, much to Saturos' amusement, he could tell that the girl was somewhat a scaredy-cat and would hesitate in combat. All this, he could tell from the way she said 'stop'. Stuttering, indicating her hesitation, fear and worriness, perhaps even confusion. The girl in front of him seemed more calm, though Also, Saturos had a certain beliefe in 'First come, first serve'. As his left hand reached towards the direction of the other girl, another blue aura emerged from his forearm, this time floating in the air and darting towards the girl like a missile. This blue aura, however, did not turn into a sword or take any physical shape at all. It stayed in its fluid liquidish form.
In less than a second, that blue aura landed onto the girl's neck, wrapping itself around the soft delicate flesh and squeezing slightly as a way to inflict hurt but not choking her yet. It was simply there to keep her in place. That blue aura would stay afloat in that particular spot, still around the girl's neck and not releasing unless, of course, Saturos made it disperse. His dark black eyes stayed on Lain, staring deep like a snake eyeing its meal. True, she seemed calm, but the eyes were the 'windows to the soul'. Saturos could see the fear in her eyes, the widening of the iris and how much her eyeballs were twitching. Saturos let out a single chuckle, his lips staying a single line as he did.
"That'll be rather boring. Let's have a little fun first."
At that, Saturos jerked his hand, the blue sword dispersing into a blue aura once more, like some kind of etheral ghost-like translucent cloud. Saturos opened his hand wide, the blue aura enlarging without a warning and pushing the girl backwards similar to a psychic push. Having done that, he was going to let her run for a moment. The most exciting part of the hunt was the chase. At that, taking the opportunity, he set his eyes on the other girl, his fingers twitching. The blue shackle around the girl's neck then started to move towards Saturos. Considering that she was moving forward too, all she would feel was a tug and she won't be choking... Yet.
Saturos turned to face her, eyeing her from head to toe. An attractive girl, he had to admit, but relationships were the last thing that was in Saturos' 'wish list'. The moment she was about two meters away from him, he put his hand down, the shackle stopping its movement and thus the girl too. Of course, she could still move, but she'd be staying in the same position, chained there by the floating spiritual shackle around her neck. At that, Saturos reached out with a clenched bandaged right hand. He opened the hand and from his four fingers came four trails of Celestial Energy. That was his Alice, the ability to intensify and increase the power of his physical energy and manipulate it into any way he wishes to.
Two of the four trails wrapped itself around her wrist, the other half wrapping itself around her ankles. As soon as it did, it would then slowly take the physical form of a blue shackle. These four shackles would then stretched outwards, straightening her arms and legs towards her sides. At that moment, she would look as if her wrists and ankles were chained to the wall, her back against the wall. Of course, there was no wall, but the 'chains' existed. Saturos stepped forward, staring deep into her eyes. Lifting up his left hand, he placed it on her cheek, his fingers touching her soft and silky skin.
"Well, you're a pretty-looking prey."

Aren't you going to continue that? Slicing me in half?
Sora heard what she had said. Her fears got more bigger. This girl, she thought was calmed really ice, unlike her. Suddenly, the guy just looked at her and gave a blast. This blast was pretty weird, color blue and look gelly. Sora didn't know what to do so she just cover her face and she was hit by it. It's like squeezing her, but ot that much. She thought it would suffucate her but it did not. The raven-haired guy just looked at the other girl and didn't look at sora. She was sweating because of the squeezing thing of this blue arua. Her phantoms asked her if they would help her and she said just calm down, she would handle it. Sora can't take it anymore but she tried to hide her alice. She knows it's better not to use her alice that fast because the guy might learn her moves and techniques. She just said, "Please, stop this non sense!" It was a nice idea to shout at a guy but not to a bad guy. He might kill you.
That'll be rather boring. Let's have a little fun first...
Suddenly, her brain just said, L.O.L. He was pretty weird. Yes, I guy, weird guys. Sora thought all guys are weird because of their things. Sora felt comfortable that time because of her laughter but she hid it inside her head. Why? Because maybe he would be mad at her when she laugh and kill her. Suddenly, some blue aura chains were shackled in her wrists and ankles. She was like, "Huh? What the hell?" She can't say anything. This guy hasn't got any love in his heart. She just stared down and saw her ankles shackled. This time the phantoms hesitated again. But she didn't allow them. Sora thought she could handle anything that time. Suddenly, the guy stared at her and sora felt such fear. She was sweating really hard that time. Her eyes were widened really big. When the guy touched her cheeks, she closed her eyes. She heard the guy spoke something.
Well, you're a pretty-looking prey...
Like duh? Well, Sora knows she's kind of pretty and sexy but she never brag about it. She never! She's nice and not that boastful. She just opened her eyes and started speaking. "Why the hell you're doing these?" That's the only word again that come out to her mouth. She waited the guy to answer and looked at the girl. She was pretty too like her. She just stared at the guy's eyes and started doing her job. She thought of not yet using her alice again, but hen the perfect time had come, she could. Or she WOULD.

Had it not for her natural passivity, Lain would have mockingly smirked at the boy when he said he wanted to have a little fun first. With that said, the girl felt at ease for some reason. Interestingly enough, the fear in her widened hazel eyes gradually faded. It seems that this boy has a knack for torturing... or even killing people he comes across.
"You're a sadist, aren't you?" she said calmly, unaware of whether she would irk the boy with her words or not. She was simply being herself at that time, brutally honest, and yet composed. Now she was more interested in watching the boy, as he was excited in an almost cruel way. She didn't even care about the blue energy that enveloped her neck.
Every second the blue aura tightened, but not enough to choke her. However, she started to open her mouth to catch her breath, yet standing still, with no intention of running away or anything.
"Why the hell you're doing these?" a voice darted, forcing her to shift her attention towards its source.
Another girl. A pretty one at that too. And Lain resented her for the fact that she was there to witness her death. Nobody was supposed to know that she was there, already about to die. But come to think of it, it really wouldn't matter if the two of them died at that place, at that time.
She would simply look at her with her dull brown eyes, watching silently as the boy made his move on her.
