OOC: Here yah go! As promised! ^^
Ida was drowning. DROWNING! She never had the ability to swim, not even to keep herself afloat. She raised her arms as high as she could, hoping to grasp something, ANYTHING, but nothing was at reach. Knowing it was her last, she sucked in a deep breath, and disappeared under the cold waters of the lake.
It was so cold underneath, but she held on, her cheeks puffed with air. She kicked and squirmed, as if to free herself of the water's grasp, to tear herself from her nearby grave. It was so hard, though. And soon she was losing her strength. Her legs felt like lead. O Dio. No. Not now. Raelag-gods-HELP!

The water soon broke into a splash as a boy's head poked out of it. His mouth was half filled with the lake water. Disgustingly flavoured, he spat it out harshly as he wanted it to disappear from his mouth. The horrid taste was left behind as it tasted like soil. Not that he had ever tasted soil before this event.
Grasping for air as he was pulled back by the water, as if it wanted him to be in it. He took a deep breath while his head was still in the air though, then letting the water pull him back in. But from there on he broke through the top of the water once more time, his left hand reached out to grab the solids that form at the edges of the lake. Then his head rested on the ground for a spilt second, before the pulled himself up, carrying a heavy weight on his back.
Well, there was quite a funny story before he had gone to the rescue. So, we shall take a flashback.
It was precisely thirty-seven minuets and fourty-six seconds when he heard a splash like noise, nearby where he had been napping. Which was near the lake anyway. Then it was precisely thirty-seven minuets and fifty-three seconds when he had woken up due to the surprise. And precisely fourty minuets and twenty two seconds when he had dived in the lake.
But why is there such a time to get into the lake when he could just dive in straight away, since he's virtually right next to it. Well, that's because he had weird clothing on, as usual. A tacky light new looking jeans, a pair of sneakers, a black v-neck three-quarter sleeved shirt, brown heavy jacket, red scarf and his guitar.
He HAD to take them off, no matter what. Placing his guitar neatly against the tree he was leaning on, the jacket off, the scarf off and his wallet and other belongings well hid under the jacket, making sure it wouldn't be stolen.
But who cares, she was saved for all it matters.
Dragging himself and the girl's body, he had breathed heavily for a moment, as he coughed out the water he had swallowed and other things that may affect his internal organs. Then switching to the water-drenched girl, as he took his wallet from underneath his jacket, pulled out a card and showed it in front of the girl's unconcious body.
"Young lady, I have a license." He started, "so if you want to survive, let me do CPR"
Putting the card back to his wallet and placing it on the back pocket of his wet jeans. He took his jacket and covered the girl, before starting the procedures.

She felt blank.
It was nothingness, she supposed, looking around blindly. Was this what death felt like? She had imagined it to be more happy, like those of the fairy tales she'd heard from her caretaker.
Nevertheless, this was her destiny, and she was doomed to--
Wait, what was that?
A light, bright and shining, pierced through the temporary blindness.
And then...
Ida coughed, spitting the water out of her lungs. After a while she lay back, tired. Thank gods she was okay. She looked around and saw her savior.
She looked at him, her face pallid, and then she forced a weak smile. "Thank you for the life-saving. I owe you."

Now was it his turn to die?
Heck no.
He was dead once, never will he have to die ever again. There the lied, his back still wet, but he didn't care. Lying down with his arms and legs spread out as he tilted his head up, grasping for more and more air.
"Thank you for the life-saving. I owe you."
'Thank you'? That's the first time a girl had ever thanked him for saving their sorry lives. Well, since she had apollogized, he couldn't complain about it. Let's see, a fainting girl, no wait, make that two. Both of them didn't say thank you and ran off, calling him a pervert.
"Your... welcome..."
His words, cut up for he had to grasp air for the time being.
"Y'know... If you could... shut up... and not do anything... it'd both of us..."

"Good Idea," she replied, also in short gasps.
She regained her composure after a while, and when she looked at her companion, she realized he hadn't. Well, it was after all, her fault. Jumping after her pencil like that, when she could just get another. So stupid, so childish.
But that one was from Raelag! Her mind screamed at her. He gave it to you! You can't just replace it like that!
Point taken.
She crawled to the lake's edge, careful not to bend in too much and fall. She didn't want to go through that again. No, not anymore.

Thank god a new girl would actually listen to him this time. The other two was as persistent as a cockroach. And then he had to talk harsh with them so that they get the words. He could be nice after all, depending on the person, he could really be nice. The girl did as she was told though, and kept quiet, while he desperately grasps for air. A few deep breathes and he was already breathing normally again.
His oufit and body slowly regaining its dry form, as he lies spread out like a child sleeping on a mat. The heat coming from the sun slowly evaporates the water particles one by one. It was definitely fall, but it still felt warm. A smile was then formed on his face, as he closed his eyes.
"You may talk and do things again now" He said. "That is, if you wish it"

She looked back at him. "Er,"she said, not really knowing what else to say. "I think I'll move around then."
Ida stood up, scanning the ground. There should be a stick here. Jumping into the lake was not one of her options. Not finding anything, she closed her eyes and sighed. No other choice.
"You don't mind if I use my alice, now do you?" she asked him. Not waiting for his answer, however, she closed her eyes and concentrated. The lake glowed a bright blue, and out came a purple octopus with ten arms. "Ten arms." Ida whispered quietly, a smile tugging at her lips. "Why call you an octopus?"
The creature blinked its eye at her and dove underneath the waters. After a while it extended and arm and placed something on her open palm- a wooden pencil.
"thank you," she tells the beast, bowing, and in reply it nodded and disappeared under the lake.
Why don't you stay? She heard her mind cry out. Why can't you stay and play with me?
