Clouds. Water vapour condensed into small light water droplets and floating in the sky where there was lesser gravity. They would simply float there, following the currents of the wind. Scientifically, that was what they were, but to Lacer, they were something more... Alive. Beings without a worry. Beings without a care. Beings who did nothing except let the wind carry them around. The ideal life of every human being. Especially Lacer's.
The young genius was lying on a tree branch, his hands at the back of his head. His left leg was dangling off the edge of the branch, his right leg bent at the knee and his foot on the surface of the wooden structure. The boy was wearing a white short-sleeved vest over a loose African white shirt. For his lower body wear, he was wearing a pair of dark green baggy pants and lastly, a pair of black sneakers. Lacer was one of his most favourite place in the whole of the Academy. On a treetop in the center of the remote North Woods, where people are rarely seen.
Now, he was alone and he was watching the clouds, envying their lifestyle. Some 'people' just get all the luck. Lacer simply chuckled, closing his eyes as he did. True, he may not be up there floating along with the clouds, but he was already close enough to it. A smile crept up to his face.

- It was a beautiful day. The sun was high in the sky, the birds were chirping, and the flowers were in bloom that made the Earth seem like a pretty little rainbow. The sunlight shone through the openings in between the leaves, illuminating the pathway as our favourite happy-go-lucky Lolita pranced through the peaceful forest. It was such tranquil area. Away from all the other students and teachers. Away from reality and all the terrible things in the world. It was the one place where anyone could put the past, present, and future behind him or her and truly be free. Without worry one could honestly enjoy themselves.
- She stopped momentarily to catch her breath, bending down to gather up flowers in her small, delicate hands, picking them from the ground to take home with her. Knowing Charity, she would most like give them away to those whom seemed sad, a feeble attempt to brighten up the dull world. After gathering a large bouquet of flowers, she tapped her index finger in her lips, debating whether or not to take one of the ribbons out of her hair, and tie it around the flowers so they wouldn’t fall apart. Making up her mind against it, she stood up once again, and skipped on her merry little way.
- She spun around, twirling with her eyes closed, absorbing the sunlight and smelling the sweet fragrance of the flowers and the forest. They were.. So different from her homeland in Germany. Back home, she could remember the scents of city, the lack of life, the rich and poor, those whom had no future. She had always disliked the way the polluted city was, but out in the open.. The dirt, leaves, and animals. It smells like.. Freedom.
- You know. When you blindly spin bad things are going to happen. Charity, Charity, Charity of the forest. Watch out for that-
SMACK. THUD. CRASH. - ....Tree. Ow. That had to hurt. Seriously. - She collided face first into the tree the boy resided in, crashing into it with full force, and falling backwards onto her back. Flowers were tossed accidentally into the air, raining down slowly in different directions. Yeah. The red-haired Lolita was K.O’d, almost making her look like a ditsy little white-clothed angel in a small field of flowers. And maybe.. The forest wasn’t as peaceful as it seemed.[/blockquote]

The sound of dead leaves breaking under footsteps entered Lacer's sharp ears, though he found himself being unable to care about it. At the moment, he was too relaxed to care about it or anything else at all. He just wanted to stay there forever, with the cool forest breeze blowing at him and the leaves providing him with shade from the bothersome Sun. His eyelids were closed over his hues, his lips curved particularly into a smile. His mind was empty, his body relaxed.
And then, there was a loud sudden thud sound and he felt the tree vibrate slightly. His eyes shot open as he jerked his hands out from under his head. Lacer was snapped out of his relaxing trance in a very shocking manner, which was a really bad thing. His sense of balance was completely ruined and soon enough, he felt a familiar force tugging down on him. His eyes widened instantly as he started flailing his arms wildly in the air, trying to grab something, anything. He felt his legs go numb suddenly and soon enough, he was off the branch.
"AHHHHhhhhhhhhhhh~"
His voice filled the area as he slowly descended to the ground. He looked down, noticing the pile of dead leaves directly below him. He felt a little relief in soft landing, but it was certainly going to be painful. He closed his eyes, looking up and trying to flip himself in mid-air so that he would land anywhere else other than his head. In his head, he started to pray that his landing would indeed be gentle enough for him to survive.
WHAM!
Lacer let out a grunt as he felt his lower back hit soft solid and soon, that gave way and he landed on solid ground. His eyes kept closed, his torso shaking slightly under the pain of the impact. He let out a grunt, before letting out a sigh as he tried to brace the pain, waiting for it to go away. There he lay, in a hole in the center of a pile of dead leaves. He opened his eyes, staring up into the sky that's seemed further away now. Slightly frustrated at the disturbance, he let out a grunt.
"What... Just... happened?"

WHAM! .... - Seriously. Could things get any worse? Or really. Any more weird and abnormal? - Her eyelids fluttered open slowly just in time to see something fall from the tree that she had spun into. Did she kill whatever was in the tree? Wait. Was it a bear?! HOLY COW. It was a bear! SHE KILLED A BEAR. She was a murderer of bears! Something to be feared by every living creature. Oh god, how was she going to live with herself, and explain to anyone that she ended a poor creature’s life? - She sat up slowly, rubbing her head in a meek attempt to get the throbbing pain to stop. Tree: 1. Charity: 0. The world spun a bit from the collision, and maybe to save a few of her brain cells, next time she would spin with her eyes open. Yeah, that would be smart. At least there was a moral to this story? - Looking around, she tried to locate the bear she had accidentally knocked out of a tree. She sat up shakily, having a hard time keeping her balance. Shifting her position, she crawled over to the boy-bear-thing. She looked him over a few times, inspecting for blood or any other damages before pulling herself as close as possible to him. It was an odd way to get one’s attention, getting within a few inches of their face with one’s own. She blushed faintly with embarrassment, and poked him just below the collarbone. Over and over. And over again.[/blockquote] ”M-Mister Bear.. A-Are you a-alright...?” - Oh wait.. He wasn’t a bear. Oops...

He was on the ground in such a position that made his hands and legs be located higher than where his torso was, as if he was lying in a very short bath tup, his body going inwards. He let out a grunt, finding it unusual comfortable, though the bare skin on his arms felt rather itchy under the touch of leaves. He kept still, perhaps due to the comfort he found his position provided and his laziness kept him in place, or maybe it was because his body still hurt. He himself was unsure of the reason himself but one thing was for sure, he found no urge to leave that spot just yet.
The sound of rustling leaves then filled his ears and he was once more snapped out of his dazed trance. His eyeballs rolled in his sockets and he saw a girl appearing from his side, apparently crawling. He stared at her for a moment, wondering where she had appeared from and why was she crawling? Then, matching the events that had happened thus far, Lacer had this unusual feeling that she had bumped into the tree. A reddish mark on the center of her forehead confirmed it. She was reason that his earlier and much more comfortable place on the branch was no longer where he was then.
He stayed where he was, keeping his ground as he eyed the girl, his black eyes locked onto hers. She was looking him over, as if looking for injuries. It seemed that she was a rather smart girl. At least she was not like one of those deadly demented students who attacked helpless students here in the North Woods. His chain of thoughts was cut, though, as she suddenly looked down directly at him, as in literally. Lacer's eyes widened, noticing how close her face was to his and it was directly above his. What was she thinking?
Then, he felt a tickling sensation somewhere on his leg and he felt a shiver run down his spine. For some reason, it felt like very bad news to him. Saliva started to store up in his mouth, he swallowed it, a gulping sound filling his ears and probably hers too. It was an ant, he could tell. And feeling an ant climbing up your leg is not a very good feeling at all. And then, the worst came.
He felt a sharp pain at his... Well, bottom.
Jerking instinctively, he sat up, as if trying to apply pressure on his bottom to ease the pain. Of course, this was all basic reaction, but this basic reaction caused Lacer a rather important thing in his life of romance, though personally he did not consider it important. What was that? Simple. His first kiss. Coincidently and unfortunately for the lazy genius, who apparently is still single, the position of the girl's face was directly above him and thus, his basic human reaction brought their lips together and for a moment, Lacer was too shocked to actually move away. Once he did, he immediately pulled back and ended up hitting the back of his head on the ground once more. This time, it was painful.
Letting out a groan, he rolled over, lying face flat on the ground with both his hands on the back of his head as he started to chant a single word.
"Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow."
Another reason that he was lying face flat, other than preventing anything else from touching his now aching head, was to hide the very deep blush on the cheeks of his face.
