A boy, wearing black jeans and a skull-printed shirt, was taking a little walk at the academy's little town. It had been a while seen this young child wandered around this academy. It wasn't quite unussual for this little lad to take a placid stroll. He was expecting more people than what he had seen that day. Soon, tiredness and boredom deluged him.
"This is boring!!" he shouted. It was loud enough to be heard by almost all people around the central town.
uh-oh... That was embarassing. Poeple around looked at the young lad whose face was shaded with red tint. Quickly, he lowered his head and continued walking, only this time, a lot more faster. He heard people whispering something like "Better stay away from him" or "He's crazy, don't go near him"
When he was far enough from the crowd, he stopped walking and looked for a tree to rest into. Ahh, a huge cherry blossom tree whom be perfect. He climbed up the top branch and lied-down with eyes closed. He wasn't sleeping, just resting his eyes.
No fun... He haven't had any fun since the day he and his girlfriend met... if you could call that fun, that is. He wished something could happen, something that could defeat boredom.

"Hu-hunh...?"
Sayuna raised her eyes to the sky, hearing the word 'boring' echo throughout the town around her. She let out an annoyed growl, before lifting up herself to her vertical height. Just napping for a while in a bench, the new student had already experienced her first alice attack; a quick blast of sunburn. This would be one of many, she knew.
She fixed her short dress slightly, smoothening it, before starting to continue her unfinished Central Town stroll. Upon reaching a huge cherry blossom tree, Sayuna caught the sight of a black figure. Gazing at it for a few more moments, the head came to view, and the rest of the body. She found herself staring at a boy at the top of a tree. How incredibly...familiar.
Sayuna approached the said tree and began to climb as the boy would've done, and as how memories show her. Reaching the branch below the opposite boy, she began to shake her own branch; for whatever reason it might serve. "Are you a corpse?" she stated in a way of innocent wonder.

"Are you a corpse?"
Eh? A corpse? Why would this girl think this boy as a corpse? He wasn't dead, but was he being useful enough? It had been a long time since he did something for anyone in this academy, after that, he barely made anything at all, like he didn't exist, obsolete, a corpse.
"Ouch..." said the little lad and opened his eyes. Looking at the figure before him, he continued, "That hurts... Am I really that useless?"
At that time, he felt down, really down. But he could blame anyone, it was his fault for not being that useful. The past few weeks, he was bedridden. Bedridden? Yeah, he had been so lazy that he failed to notice the changes at the academy and spent his time lying-down on his soft, warm bed. He also failed to communicate with his girlfriend. What kind of relationship was that? Where is his girlfriend anyway? She hadn't showed up since the day he met her.
uhh, thoughts filled his mind because of a single word -corpse-. He wanted to shake it off his mind but it kept coming back again.

"That hurts... Am I really that useless?"
Instead of answering, the little girl just remained quiet and began running through a list of possible answers. She could say, 'It depends on how you think of yourself' or perhaps, a drop of a passerby, which is an 'I don't know. Are you?'
Either way, she couldn't feel the least bit sorry. After all, it was the first time someone said a sentence such as that; not even her only friend used it on her, even once. Heck, this was making her tremble again. This was hard, she wasn't the kind to spend too much on thinking. She answers, and it's either correct or wrong. That was how simple life should be. Sadly, it isn't, and it never will be.
Without a reply, Sayu began and tried to stand up in her vertical height, having crawling at the branches to reach the boy. Balancing on her place, arms horizontally aligned to her shoulders, she asked what she had been thinking in her mind all along - which was odd, since she hadn't put it on the List of Possible Answers.
"I don't know. Do you think I'm that useless?"

The girl raised up and balanced herself to the boy. Being a gentleman, he attempted to hold her hand, guiding her to her path. As he held her hand, a strong feeling of sorrow entered him. He felt something crashing his heart. It was that painful. The pain stopped as he heard the girl's voice.
"I don't know. Do you think I'm that useless?"
She returned his question to him, eh? Again, thoughts started to inflate his mind. How can a person be called useless? Can you realize that by just looking at people's appearance? Perhaps not.
"Eh? I don't know, are you? "
Okay... That was a stupid reply. What else could he say? He knew nothing about the lass before him. He knew he was being rude but he didn't know any possible reply.
"I'm Yue... and you are?" The lad said and raised an eyebrow, desperately waiting for an answer.

Sayuna simply shrugged, and took the young man's hand. "I don't know, but it doesn't matter, does it? A life doesn't have to be important to be meaningful, right?" Before this reply, though, Sayu frowned at his choice of words. Humans, so predictable, saying something another has thought of. Other than that, she was feeling fatigue taking over her, and her balance wavered. Another attack? Or a height phobia? She'll figure out soon enough.
Mumbling a mantra she made up to get over any phobia she might encounter, Sayuna bravely began to walk to the edge of her branch. This was quite a stupid behaviour, as a branch is thick near the trunk, yet thin at it's far edge. It was like suicide to going near it. Subconciously, she was suffering from an alice attack, a borderline personality disorder, a serious mental illness.
Then she heard words, that formed a sentence. According to what she heard herself, it said "I'm you, and you are?" Sayuna blinked and looked up, seeing a figure. Her eyes showed blank. "I'm...you, right?"
