Nathan reached his destination. It would seem he could smell it, for he found it with ease. Nathan had walked into one of the buildings and somehow went directly to the library as if the books called to him. He opened the door and stepped in. He noted that it was empty, and that made him less on edge. He walked quietly to the bookshelves, stalking around for a good book. He took long strides, his eyes not reading the titles, but looking more at the spines. He drove his foot into the floor to stop himself midstride. That was it: “Physics: The Forces of Speed and Motion”. The book may as well be labeled “Kinetics” since it practically defined his Alice. He pulled it off the shelf hefting it for its weight. It felt to be about 600 pages. He walked to a nearby table, and plopped it on the desk.
He had his laptop with him, of course. Reading off the Internet is all well and good, but nothing beats the feel of the old paper between your fingers, the call of the books that draw you in, the smell of a book opening for the first time in oh so many years. He stared intently at it for a few moments before concentrating. D(mv)/Dt=F. Distance times mass times speed divided by distance times time equals the required force applied. Hmm and Mass times acceleration also equals applied force. Nathan thought about what he had learned on the Internet. Acceleration equals to difference in speed over difference in time. So then how were the two related? Maybe the Ds removed each other. And you had mv/t which could be delta V over Delta t, that made sense. Nathan started thinking too hard though and he ended up confusing himself. So he opened his eyes again and read more.

- What a wonderful world~!
- The birds were chirping, the bees were buzzing, and Charity was being her typical loveable airheady self. She grinned, trotting throughout the school campus, on her own little adventure. It was like a mission, a mission so much more cool than those silly Mission Impossible movies. Sure, there may be no Tom Cruise, but Charity is so much cooler than him. Don’t agree? Then GFTO and stop reading this thread!
- ...Anyways. Yet again our heroine is lost. She had traveled near and far, to an unknown part of the school. And so, she opens a random door, and stared in amazement at the new place she found. Blinking stupidly, she proceeded inwards. It was like a whole new world in there! A very dusty new world. She sneezed, and ran into her new play house. She twirled, and danced, and sneezed until she got bored. There was no one to share he excitement and joy for the new world.. No life, just dusty old books. But then.. She spotted him. ”Oh wow! Are you a Book Monster? Can I keep you, pretty pleeeeeease?” - She skipped over to the proclaimed ‘Book Monster’, and poked him in the head. Not once, not twice, but three times. She grinned at the boy, giddy with excitement to the fact that she wasn’t the only one to share her new world, even if she was lost. ”So Mister Book Monster, do you gotta name we can call youuuuu~?”

Nathan whom was reading intently was surprised by the sudden appearance of this… Child. That was the first thought that came to mind, even if he was young, and in the lowest grades of the school, he still acted with some sort of maturity. However this Child, of which he named, was about as immature as a preschooler, and that almost irritated him. For one such as her to defile his private sanctuary was unspeakable. Well, maybe just maybe, she could have some reason to be here, but he doubted that. Maybe he should humour her, maybe she would leave him be that way. Or he could just show her to the door and oh so kindly have her leave the library, where only people with something more then air between their ears belong. His third option, which he also considered, was confusing her, it was often fun to give random spurts of information in order to confuse another, and then practically see the question mark blinking above their head. He decided that he would do the last one.
“Yes Child, I have a name, fore as it is said, ‘A Man is not a Man if he is without a name’ though I’m sure that it holds true for a female such as yourself as well.”
Then to emphasize his point and to confuse her more, he slammed his book closed. It was an easy thing to do, closing his book without damaging it, but making a resounding crack that echoed around the room for a few long seconds. Before she said anything else, he stood, and walked across the room, in a few long strides. He placed the book back where it belonged, and turned to the girl.
“So then Child, since I have a name, and you have a name, then shall you repeat yours to the exact letter, your birthplace to the exact squared off mile, and your birthdate off to the exact hour?”
He then waited for an answer, planning his next words carefully in order to grant her the state of confusion.

- Well now, could he be any more rude? Calling her not only a child, but to speak to her as if she was a lesser being? She was not stupid. Yeah guys! I’m not joking here. Charity’s not completely stupid.
- She blinked dumbly as her went on a highly literate rant, letting his words completely fly past her. ‘In one ear, and out the other’ as some would say. That’s right kiddies. Charity was not paying attention, not one little bit! She was busy looking around her new quiet kingdom before she jumped slightly at the sudden loud noise of the slammed book.
-The older girl followed his movments with her eyes, watching him like a hawk would stalk its’ preys every movement. She heard his question, and tapped her index finger to her lips to think, trying to figure out the best way to seem all smart and stuff like him. "C-H-A-R-I-T-Y S-E-G-U-R. I was born in the eastern part of Berlin, annnnndd.. October thirty-first.. At.. At.. Oh I dunno what time I was born! ;`;" OOC Shitty SUPA late post, bro. Sorry man. xD <3 You know the reason why an' such.
OH YEAH. Staff. Even think of touching this thread, and trust me. I will hunt you down. There were certain complications with this thread, and the other user I personally know IRL. He understands, and you better not touch this thread. Get it? I get damn negative karma for a reason. Have a problem with any of this? PM me then. ;]

“Well then Miss Sugar, is there a reason of which you stand before me? This of course is not an area for one of your… Intellect.”
He walked along the shelves as he said this. Upon his last word he pulled out a book. The name spoke The Asian Animals All the animals of Japan, China, and India . He walked quickly back to the girl, holding the title facing out. It was a childrens book, with animals drawn on the cover, it was covered in bugs and birds, and mixed mammals. The back, was their behinds. He opened the book, flipping through. The animals flipped past the girl’s eyes.
“Here child, take this one, it would be most suited for you. Now, find a quiet place to read, and read the book, come back to me when your done.”
