Honestly, I am quite vexed last night and I'm not planning to tell the reason. I'm keeping it confidential. After all, you all don't care, right? As a result of my pent-up annoyance, I ended up typing this RULES REFRESH REFRESH to let it out.
This will be a long read. READING is a MUST.
RULES REFRESH REFRESH
I. Proboards Rule

Please include the following information in your character sheet and feel free to add anything else you think would add to your character ;D Note that the Staff may ask and/or change any information they find inappropriate or overpowered on your profile.
- Name
- Age (Make this REASONABLE for a seventh grader)

- If you have been approved by three mods, but have yet to have you thread moved to the Approved board and your name to be put up in the Class Rosters, put in 'Thumbs Up' to indicate that you have been approved.
- If it is incomplete, put it 'Question Mark'.
I have seen quite a number of applicans not following this!
Alice Creation
- Please no Time Travel Alices unless you check with Phoenix first.
- Alices are a focused power, therefore please limit yourself to a single ability.
- An Alice may or may not have a drawback. But drawbacks often come with stronger Alices.
- An Alice's power typically becomes stronger with time and experience. Only a few can be strongest when one is young (ex: An Alice that operates off of imagination).
- These Alices can be anything! Use that imagination and make something you feel would be coolest to RP.
Alice Restriction
- Chaos Element - Staff only.
- Nullification Element - Self Nullification only.
- Nothing highly overpowered or broad (the staff will confront you if you choose something like this).
- It has been decided that alices can never be changed once approved.
III. Roleplaying Rules
- No god-modding. Controlling the fellow character's actions is definitely unallowed! Unless given permission, we will not tolerate any forms of god-modding. This is the reason why we are preventing the approval potential god-moddy alices.
- Please use proper English, including grammar and spelling. We wouldn't be hard on this. This is a bit tolerable because errors are inevitable. I myself am guilty of commiting faulty grammar and spelling errors. But as much as possible, let your messages be easily understood by others.
- No spamming in any thread, especially IC threads. In-character messages may contain some OOC lines. However, longer OOC messages than IC in an IC post is not allowed. Common Sense.
- Post in the right forum. Private threads are private and restricted to hte ones uninvited. Again, common sense.
- The board is Rated-13. Anything with adult content is never allowed.
- Make your posts sufficiently long. Minimum character length per IC post is 150 characters.
- Necro-ing is not allowed. Simply, never revive old threads. Old threads are the ones placed on the old pages of a board. Start a new one or join one.
- No double posting. Duh.
- You must have the common sense. That's all.
[/li][/ul]
IV. NETIQUETTE
This is the heaviest one. Some rules of netiquette are already incorporated in the previous rules stated. However, in this section, I am emphasizing the rules about courtesy.
- FLAMING is definitely a no-no
According to Wikipedia, Flaming is the act of sending or posting messages that are deliberately hostile and insulting, usually in the social context of a discussion board on the Internet.
Therefore, flaming via posting or pms is not allowed. Any form of insult or offensive idea is considered flaming. - COURTESY / RESPECT. Everyone should treat anyone with respect. Sometimes, posts or private messages may not have something to be considered as a flame, but they are still perceived offensive and impolite to others. Examples are writing the entire message in All Caps. Yes, the message may not contain insults but the message is addressed in a disrespectful manner. It only shows that you're somewhat 'shouting' on that person.
The point of this rule, Use the right manner of addressing your thoughts and use some diction, right choice of words. - ATTITUDE It has been alarming that the 'hate list' is expanding. I myself had a share of my annoyance entries in that list. I consider this as the most difficult part of the rules. Attitudes are quite stable and are difficult to change. Everyone has their unique attitudes, both with good and bad. Yes. Good and bad while some are indifferent, which means they are unclassifiable and depends on the situation. Some people can tolerate them and some do not. However, it is better to try to restrain yourselves in getting those unpleasant attitudes be expressed. Examine yourselves. Ask yourself this question. "Is there something wrong with me?" It may sound stupid but you need this to get yourself in good terms with others. Try to hear with ears of your heart and feel what others think of you. If they are okay with you, then good. Ugh. I mean, great! If not, there is really a problem. You need an attitude make-over.
Phew. I'm quite relieved now. Now that I had let my grr-ing out in the form of this message. Thank you. Adios. ^^
