The sight of Quartermain's arm was enough to inspire Hiei to fight back. Dark Dragon was a creature from hell when unleashed, a hell that was in Hiei's own soul. Parhaps it would be better if it stayed there, eh? Hiei shook his head, the colour of his eyes turning back to a normal red. Hiei extinguished the flame, and immediately after that, Quartermain poked his chest. Hiei looked at his opponent with thoughtful eyes, then shook his head. "This is enough, Quartermain. Let us end this as another tie. We've each taken enough punishmen already." Even talking hurt Hiei like hell. Blood continued to trail down from his mouth, and many other parts were bleeding. If a cut on the fist worried Hime so much, he wondered how she would react to this.
Raising his shaking and aching arm, he grabbed Quartermain's wrist and slowly pushed his hand down. Hiei looked up once more at the fighter he had found to respect. Once more, he shook his head. "Let's end this conflict now."

Quartermain heaved, there was not a spot on his clothes that wasn't stained red with one boys blood or the others. "No, Hiei, we don't walk away from this. One of goes on a stretcher or in a body bag. I don;t care who, or if its both. But we don't walk." Quartermain sawyed, trying to find a way to win the fight. "A draw, is however acceptable." He grabbed Hiei's shoulders. And with respect in his eyes and in his heart he slammed his head into Hiei's with all his might, felling both parties. Two boys, battered and unconcious, but neither beaten.

Hiei continued to be silent, not budging at all from his spot even after Quartermain's... threat. Quratermain kinda reminded Hiei of himself. A person who didn't accept unfinished battles. That was the past, though. Hiei knew better now that he needed to live. He found a reason to live, and a person to live for. And then, Quartermain's second statement registered into his head. Hiei opened his mouth slightly, indicating that he was confused. The next thing he knew, Quartermain grabbed his shoulders and gave him a very strong headbutt. At the moment of impact, Hiei felt as if he was being thrown back a thousand miles. His vision suddenly jerked around, then slowly blacked out. His right hand raised to touch his forehead, before he lost conciousness and fell backwards. In fact, Hiei didn't even have enough time to figure out what exactly happened.
And then, at that moment, the Academy had gone through another obstacle. The question, though, was at what price? Quartermain, after all, couldn't be the only one attacking. Where was Meredith, and Anna? How many casualties did they suffer? Maybe once he finally wakes up, he would know.
