Silhouette has mannequin-white skin—quite pale, if one may put it. She is considerably tall for a woman. Her extremities are long and slender as well as her torso. Beyond her weak-looking semblance is an incredible Herculean strength that matches a man’s. Also, her legs and arms are strong enough to enable her to run and jump at amazing speeds and heights.
Over all, her face has a sultry look. She has piercing silver eyes and a pair of thin eyebrow lines. She has a high-bridged nose and a pointed chin. Her hair has an unusual style—brushed on her right are short fly away strands while on the left are shoulder-length wavy hair.
Clothing: Silhouette wears a high-collared sleeveless vest on top. It is closed by a series of metal clips and girdled by a gartered black belt worn around the portion below her chest. Underneath is a turtle-neck sleeveless shirt made of sweater fabric. For her lower garments, she wears black nylon shorts supported by a pair of khaki suspenders hang over her shoulders. Also, wrapped around her shorts is a wide crimson shawl-like cloth extending down to her knees. She also wears a pair of leather hand gloves without finger wraps and some accessory bands worn around her upper arms. For her footwear, she wears a pair of leather boots tightened by belts distributed throughout its length. Other accessories are her shoulder plate laid on her left shoulder and a pair of diamond earrings.
Simulated Alice:
Diamond Dust – Silhouette’s alice is a mix of an Ice Manipulation and Illusion alice. With the Ice manipulation alice, she can collect molecules of water around her and freeze them to her liking. This is also the manner she takes whenever she creates illusions. By collecting water particles into a thin sheet of ice, mixing it with an aerosol of her special liquid and a slight buzz of varying faint electric shocks, she is capable manipulating the colors and images projected on the sheet of ice. Thus, her illusions are mainly limited to tricks on sight, unlike the usual illusion alices that include the sense of hearing and touch.
Making sheets of ice is her usual technique. She can create as many as she can in various thicknesses according to her liking. Like ice, they can be shattered with force, though they are rarely used on attacks—usually on illusions.
Alice Origin and History:
Since Silhouette's alice is an integration of many alices, it originated from different persons though extracting only portions of the full potency of its sources. Her alice is technically the sum of Ice manipulation, Illusion, and Electricity alices. She is given a portion of an ice manipulator’s and illusionist’s brain and a tissue of electricity-generating glands.
The Ice manipulation alice was extracted from a native of Canada’s frigid lands—an Eskimo named Kirima Makivik. She was a daughter of the tribe chieftain and was an outcast because of her uncontrolled ability as she was causing blizzards in their lands. She was eventually submitted herself to the Shepherds in her hopes to get rid of her ability. Thus, her alice was successfully extracted. She is now back to her tribe being completely accepted by her people.
Meanwhile, her Illusion and Electricity alices were obtained from a Siamese twin born of an aliced couple. They were thought to be hopeless because of their condition. The Shepherds took their custody and successfully separated the twins in exchange for surrendering their alices to them.
Personality: At first glance, Silhouette may look stern and collected, but when you get to know her, she is actually the naughty talkative type. Tactless and outspoken, she expresses everything that she can think or feel. She is the typical type of an evil character—sadistic and bloodthirsty. She is also a narcissist—someone who loves her self more than anything except for King, which is the main reason why she joined the Shepherds. Anything for her unrequited love for Black Tower, she would commit, just to achieve acceptance and acknowledgement. Playful and sagacious, she loves to see anyone falling in her tricks.
Background:
Born of a British father and a Japanese mother, she was given the name Sophia. Her mother died when she was born, thus, growing up with her father around all the time. Her father was an aristocrat. He was one of the richest persons during his time. Not to mention, he was also gifted with an alice. However, no one knew about it, even Sophia. It was remarkably different—the alice of regeneration. Sophia, however, did not inherit this type of ability. She was born as a normal person.
When she was 15, Sophia’s father started to receive threats from an unknown person. In their suspicion, it was from his business rivals and that was their belief until the day when the unexpected happened. The father and daughter were on their way to a summer trip to the beach when their car was ambushed by a group of men. Their run was halted in the curved part of the cliff road. The men tried to abduct her father. At that moment, her father figured that they were not after his wealth but his alice, which was hidden from everyone. Thus, he chose to fail their goal by jumping off the cliff and down into the depths of the rocky shore below. Soon after, the men fled after their mission ended in vain.
Definitely, Sophia’s father’s death devastated her entire personality. She still wasn’t aware of the men’s true motives. All she wanted back then was revenge. For many years, she was alone until a man named King approached her. He presented himself as a close buddy of her father, but actually, he is the leader of the Shepherds—the group who was after her father. They were after to snatch his alice for their own convenience. But they failed, which brings them to his daughter, Sophia, who they thought holds the key on how to achieve the alice of regeneration, which may be hidden in her genes.
King adopted Sophia as his own daughter. However, Sophia had a different view on his adoptive father. She fell in love with him until it reached the point of obsession. Eventually, she was integrated into King’s secret organization. She took periods of training and even agreed to be one of King’s loyal henchmen by being installed of biological parts in her body. Thus, she was granted a simulated alice and is acknowledged as The Shepherd’s White Tower.
